15 minutes in and this far outweights anything I saw at the World Cup, thank god for club football.

IF we don't ruin him, it looks like England has some keeper in Joe Hart

This fish feels strange - wanting Redknapp's team to win. Ick. Ick.

That said, Spurs were by far the better side in the first half. Joe Hart's the only reason they're not up by...several.

Man City were nearly as bad as Spurs strikers in that half, embarassing.

Entertaining start to the Villa-West Ham game. Villa absolutely dominating, up 1-0 on an offsides downing goal. Can't say they don't deserve it though

Magnifico.

Downing and Petrov with the goals, 45 minutes off domination. Not bad with 2 20 year olds getting starts.

This fish rather likes Albrighton.

(Kurt, why weren't you at the game? Worried about floating away in the deluge?)

Wow Blackpool top of the league impressive! I think Wigan will struggle and go down this season but this is some result!

A quick mention to my 'other' more local football team - Torquay!. We are top of the league in League 2 (3 divisions below Premiership) and haven't conceded a goal in the league for 830+ minutes... perhaps some of them should come and teach Milan how to defend!

Perhaps we can extend this and have another World football record - other than the quickest own goal ever recorded...

*raises a fin* Um. Weren't Blackpool supposed to be the worst team in the league, dead cert to go down with fewer points even than derby? wtf happened?

EDIT: And yay for Torquay! Does Basil Fawlty go to games? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif)

My dad's changed jobs recently and basically can't get to about 80% of the games, so I decided not to get a season ticket as I don't particularly want to go on my own. I'll just go to odd games I think.

Anyways, it was a great performance. Nice to see Milner get a goal and a great reception when he went off, would be a great way to end his time at Villa. Albrighton and Clark were great all game, brilliant to see our academy bringing players of this quality through.

Well done to Blackpool too for their 4-0 win.

Haha. I could probably recite most of the episodes by heart, Ash. LOVE that show. It's broadcast regularly on telly over here even now, along with episodes of Monty Python's Flying Circus. Basil is this fish's hero!
