Wait, Marco Delvecchio? Since when did he play for Milan. Am I missing something huge here?

Nah, Danny. A bunch of guys from other clubs are being loaned to Milan for the tour -- it's traditional practice for clubs on these postseason tours to borrow guys for the tours -- and absolutely not on a permanent basis.

My person is going to be squealing for WEEKS. Guess who she just met, joked with, and got an autograph from?
I am moving out of the house for the interim. Anyone got a spare fishbowl? |

Well, she met Pato, Favalli, Flamini, etc etc too but the only one who makes her squeal is Nesta. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/96.gif)
It's going to be a long night. |

Can Nesta speak English? (Or do you speak Italian?)

My person speaks some Italian. At least enough to say 'Excuse me. I don't speak Italian well, but could I please ask for an autograph?' in Italian and understand the jokes back and forth. She'd brought down a copy of Forza Milan magazine - the one with team photos in it. It was a source of great amusement. Nesta was a really nice guy, Favalli actually seemed SHY (which surprised my person as she was the one who was terrified), Delvecchio was funny (those three were hanging in a group). Antonini was chilling with a group of other hotel guests. Pato was hanging out with Flamini, whose ear was plastered to a cellphone (he was speaking in English). Didn't see Seedorf, Dinho or any of the goalkeepers.

Yeah, but she's bad luck. We lose games when she opens threads.
Here are photos from the VIP reception last night: link And some video interviews: 90 Seconds With Seedorf 90 Seconds with Pippo 90 Seconds with Ronaldinho And photos from training: link even though they got a bunch of the names wrong |
