i think he,s learning alot from nesta and the other thing he's very comfortable with the ball that's why he is good at attacking as well

I think Silva has been our most underrated player so far. Nesta is great, he gets credit. Pato is great, he gets credit. etc. but I don't see Silva getting the credit he deserves. really happy with his signing.

I am too. I'll also admit that I was really skeptical about him. He's turned out to be rather good. I just wish he'd stop with the occasional defensive lapses.

Hopefully he will. I don't remember of any lapses last nigh, despite the pitch's slipperiness.

QUOTE
“I scored an important goal for the team, for the group. In the dressing room they teased me as they said I scored a brace (he laughs). The important thing is that we played well, with personality. It’s difficult to play against teams like Lazio who possess quality players, who shoot well, but in the end we won and this is the most important thing. With regards to myself, I’m happy to work well, everyone speaks well about me and I’m happy about this.” Thiago Silva

QUOTE
A.C. MILAN: COMUNICATO UFFICIALE
11/11/2009

[This afternoon Thiago Silva was called up by the Brazilian NT for 2 friendlies against England (Nov 14 in Doha) and Oman (Nov 17 in Muscat). Milan has decided to release the player, agreeing to the Brazilian NT request, even though it arrived outside the time limits set forth in FIFA regulations, because of its good relations with the CBF (brazilian fa).]

FYI.

Also fyi, saw on eurosport/tuttomercatoweb/etc that Luisao had an emergency appendectomy this morning. Looks like Silva is his replacement.

He better not get hurt.

He banged his knee during Brazil's 1-0 win over England. Fishdoll jinx!

Looks like he'll be fine though.
