QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Sep 19 2009, 07:18 PM) He set up the winning goal though. He was also the single reason we made the final, in my opinion. It's refreshing to know that someone else watched all the games (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Edit: Just read this at football-Italia. net and it made me smile: QUOTE Much was made of the fact Ronaldinho was benched for the game in France and it seemed to make the team flow better. So even his teammates would rather not see him on the pitch! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

QUOTE AC Milan Star Ronaldinho Considering Retirement - Report Not even the Brazilian sensation is impressed by his form...
AC Milan midfielder Ronaldinho has been far away from his prime and, according to Spanish news daily Sport, he is even contemplating calling time on his career at the end of the season.
The 29-year-old, two-times winner of the FIFA World Player of the Year award, joined Milan from Barcelona last year but he has been anything but happy at the San Siro.
His form at the Italian giants has been the subject of criticism and he has not been able to make the Rossoneri fans forget about Kaka's departure despite president Silvio Berlusconi's wish to have 'Dinho leading the team.
With Ronaldinho's involvement in the 2010 World Cup practically ruled out, the former Paris Saint-Germain man is allegedly thinking again about hanging up his boots. Brazilian radio Jovem Pan reports that the midfielder considered retiring from football during his last year at Barcelona, having been talked out of it by his brother and agent, Roberto de Assis.
However, his lack of success at Milan has reportedly brought the idea of retiring from football back on the table, and not even the possibility of returning to his homeland, where Ronaldo and Adriano have been very happy, appears to captivate him.
LuÃs Mira, Goal.com YES!!! THIS WILL MEAN ONE OF TWO THINGS, EITHER E BUY A NEW SUPERSTAR, ORGALLIANI COMES OUT AND SAYS HOW GREAT A CHAMPION SEEDORF IS AND HE WILL LEAD US...

(IMG: style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) oh well, i agree, even being a die-hard milan fan, i will one day tell my kids about ronnie's exploits as my dad did Baggio's and my mom of Zahovic's exploits (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) i'm glad to have witnessed such a talent but i wish he could just regain form, it can't be hard... This is one of the most ridiculous reports to have ever come out. Now why would he retire? For footballers, the game is the reason they can afford a comfortable life for them and their families back home. There is no logic behind the report, just controversy v3 coming out on him. He is past his best, yes he is but he is in no way going to retire just cause he played two bad games out of three this season (IMG: style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Someone will take him, if not the elite clubs, then a Premier league team Thats assuming he leaves. I dont think he will go anywhere until the season is over. He needs to stop being a drama queen and start performing

QUOTE (Danny @ Sep 19 2009, 04:49 PM) I am an advocate of the diamond tbh and I'd suggest the following personnel...
------------Gattuso
Seedorf---------------Flamini
------------Ron
--------Pato---KJH
I'd ditch Pirlo, and use Gattuso back there in the Makelele role - forget trying to be creative, and just break up opposition attacks, keeping passing simple. Let Seedorf work the right and Flamini the left, leaving Ron the freedom to supply the strikers. Put Pirlo in for Flamini and I'm with you. Pirlo needs to play, so does Seedorf, the midfield with the 2 DMs is just plain pathetic to say the least. Look at what Pirlo did against Livorno in the second half while playing on that left side of midfield. Created tons of chances (that were wasted) Flamini on that left side would mean him going up and down that wing aimlessly with no end product. Only 1 DM please, especially agaisnt these smaller teams. To those who keep mentioning the Marseille match as a reference to how Dinho effects us, lets not get ahead of outrselves, we were still terrible, we only had a couple of good spells here and there, and lets not even talk about the fact that Pippo's first goal was from an offside position. Seedorf had a great game, but lets not expect that to happen again anytime soon. Marseille were over running us in the midfield and if they weren't actually aiming at th stands when they got their chances we would have lost easily. So being happy about Dinho not performing becuase that means he doesn't play is not good for us. Lets see what happens when Real come to town and how badly we'll be humiliated

QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Sep 19 2009, 10:33 PM) Retire!? This guy is such a media whore, anything to get his name in the spotlight. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Like turning his headband to show the Nike swoosh while his national anthem is being played... IMO he does not want to do all the hard work in training and has no desire to play football for Milan. It wouldn't surprise me if he tries to force his way out of Milan and hopefully get one final payday at another club with money(man 5hitty?), then he can back to do what he enjoys the most...partying. The sooner this unprofessional mercenary leaves the better.
