QUOTE (LaPalma @ Jun 18 2009, 08:50 PM) *
Just wanted to say a few things about the Dzeko transfer. For one, Wolfsburg don't have to sell anyone if they don't want to. They have as much money as they want. Volkswagen gives them the money they need. So if they want to sign anyone Armin Veh simply goes to Volkswagen chairman Martin Winterkorn and asks for the money. And till now Winterkorn always said yes.
I wouldn't count on him joining us although it seems as if he badly wants it. Wolfsburg aren't willing to sell him this year. They made that quite obvious. Maybe they'll do it, but only if they can get a good replacement. I don't think Volkswagen wants their club to lave the CL after the group stage, and for that they need guys like Dzeko.

As for his class. Yes, he is good. But till now, he's a one hit wonder. He played a brilliant season but others do that as well from time to time. Plus, he perfectly linked up with Grafite and Misimovic. They had an outstanding understanding between each other. No one can say how good he is without them.

Well i have to tell u that Dzeko is player that played well in Teplice (Chez League) too, with just 21 years old he was best striker of Team. Have to mention that he was pronunced as best foraing player. This season Dzeko scored 43 goals in 52 Matches and he is best scorer of World Cup Qualification, German Bundes Liga and German Cup.
This guy have a skill, and he is one of Best strikers in THE world ATM. Wolfsburg don't have as much money as u think, Comity of Wolfsburg spent 35 Mil € in the past 2 season while Felix Magath was a coach, the reason why Magath leave Wolfsburg is they cut his Buget for the new season, and Comity want to sale Dzeko trust me to retrive money spended in the last 2 season.

It's Finished For Porto's Aly Cissokho, No More Talks - Milan's Galliani
Adriano Galliani has revealed the deal is over as Milan abandon their chase for the stopper...

19 Jun 2009 10:12:59

Milan vice president Adriano Galliani admits the move has gone up in smoke and there is no chance of salvaging it after neither side could agree a revised deal for the player.

Both clubs tried frantically to salvage negotiations after problems emerged with the health of Cissokho's teeth. Milan presented Porto with a revised plan which signalled their intent to take the stopper on an initial loan deal with the option to buy him next year.

The Portuguese side felt the proposal was too risky and they had informed various members of the club that the deal was off on Thursday evening. Hours later, Cissokho's agent claimed there was still hope of the deal being rescued by last-minute talks.

However, Galliani has officially confirmed that Milan have now abandoned their chase for the defender. Furthermore, he is in no mood to re-open negotiations if the Portuguese side were to have a change of heart.

"It's finished. We have not found an agreement with Porto on terms regarding a loan deal as well as the player's price given the problems which have emerged," Galliani told reporters outside the Lega Calcio offices in Milan as reported by Calciomercato.com.

"There will not be any further discussions and we will not find another alternative. We have many wing-backs and we will stay as we are." ISNT HE IDIOT

Despite the deal for Cissokho being scuppered, Galliani admits Milan will continue to survey the market for a decent striker, with Dzeko being the hitman of choice.

"Our aims are focussed on a good striker now. Dzeko is a great player and we will hope to do it [sign him], if not we will move on someone else.

"We have a great squad of players already, all we need is a top-class striker.

"As for [Andrea] Pirlo, we have not received any offers for him and he will stay 99.9 percent."

I can't believe we're going to be stuck with Janku on the left next season, its ridiculous. I agree that we shouldn't go after this Cissokho. Porta seem like they want to get rid of him quick, and we're the idiots who were going to pay him 15m for him.

Thank God for the dental problems because something tells me that we could have been stuck with an expensive dud. If they think it's risky to loan him first then they obviously don't think he's good enough and wanted to try and offload him on us

Galliani is a joke. a few days ago he said we'd signed Cissokho thanks to his wonderful relationship with Porto officials who he'd known for many years, blah blah and now the deal is off because they couldn't reach an agreement!

An alternative? No, I think that we have many full-backs and we keep our players. We have Zambrotta, Oddo, Jankulovski, Antonini, we also have Bonera who can play as a full-back and Flamini too. We're covered. We have a great squad, we have many champions in our team."

Zambrotta Oddo Janku Antonini Bonera... none of them are anywhere near world class full backs. Zambro and Janku were but aren't anymore.

Bonera isn't even a fullback, he's a CB he only plays on the wing when we're desperate

Guys im really pissed off with Milan strategy, remember how we allways RULED transfer market?
I think our Milan beacome ridicilus, it hurt me a lot, my heart is RED AND BLACK but i really don't understand all the strategy they make.
THIS WILL HURT SOME ONE BUT IM MILAN FAN SINCE 1991 AND I WATCHED EVRY SINGLE GAME :

I wanna start with Leonardo, onlly god know how Coach he will be, i think he have great relationship with players but i don't think he can be a BIG BOSS. Altought i prefer to put him on Galliani place coes he have nose for the players.

Dida - Some times he look like World Class GK, but when it come to crutial moments he faild to pass the TEST, no one will forgive him Leeds game and his salary 3,5 Mil per Season.

Abbiati - What can i say about this guy, he was pronunced as bigest talent of Italy football, all the time Milan didn't prefer him at GK rolle. We can pray that this is his season.

Kalac - U can't tell me that guy who is borned 1972 is still have Reflex and Pace, i hope we will get rid of him soon and give a space to some on from Primavera.

Mattioni - When they signed him they said he is Big Talent and BIG champion, i didn't see him playing actually but i trust Leonardo coes he have a nose for it. May be this is his season.

Kaladze - Evry one know that Kaladze come to Milan coes Shevchenko asked for him, i liked him when he arive at Milan but when he had personall problems he go to big Depresion and still i can't see he is back. He is not a World Class evry one know that but he is good for Bench role.

Nesta - Don't eaven need to metnion it, THE WALL in Milan Defence, one of the best Defenders of all time, i pray for him this season, i hope he won't have problems with his backs.

Zambrotta - Unique player that can play on bouth sides of the field, onlly true CHAMPION beside NESTA in Defence.

Jankulovski - Never didn't like him really, in the last season had onlly good 3 preformenc im 100% we can find better player then him. We should sell him and try to bring Clichy or Zapata.

Favalli - He should go, we don't need Grandphaters in defence, didn't show any good preformence in all the game he played. Anchelloti showed his arguance, no one can't tell me that we don't have better player in Primavera then him i mean guy is 1972 and his name is not Maldini.

Bonera - I know he have a big potential, all this time he is shadow of Bonera that played in Parma. I hope he will come to his best this season.

Darmian - I heard that he was one of the best defender in Primavera, he gain Ancheloti so...

Antonini - He have to be 200% better player to start in first 11. He is avarage player that could easy prove im wrong, he didn't play a lot of match tought.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gattuso - Our gladiator, Milan depend on him next season and i know he will give his 1000% and strive in evry game. My opinion he should be our EL CAPITANO as he deserv it.

Cardacio - Dang this guy was so good in Urugvay, may be he just need more games to give his best.

Pirlo - When Kaka was injured onlly player that deilivered ball to the attacker was Pirlo, i watched his preformenc for Italy this days he WAS GREAT.

Ambrosini - I don't think he have quality of footballer to be in starting 11 for the Team that is chasing CL and Seria A.

Flamini - We could use more services of him, past season he played 4 difrent position and i think he was losted in field with all the Rotation that Ancheloti made with him. Flamini is completed DM and he will be a crutual in MF along side with Gattuso and Pirlo next season.

Ronaldhino - Evry one love Roonie, for me most talented player in the World i mean no one can't drible like him, he is prepreing for next season and i hope he will be leader coes we need him a LOT.

Seedorf - He can't play on the same lvl he playd beafore 2-3 years, i don't blame him for starting games insted of Ronaldhino i blame Anchelloti and i would never say anything bad or whistle to him coes he gave a lot to Milan, i hope he will go to some other club coes at this Point he is uselles to Milan, he is not the player he used to be.

Pato - The Duck, now when Kaka is gone all the hopes are in Duck, i spoke with some of Milan fans and i beolive next season he can lead Milan like Ibrahimovic lead Inter.

Inzaghi - SUPERPIPO, nothing to say more about PIPO.

Borriello - Timeless talent, great player with Great skills but seams like evry one forget about him. He can come back to his best.

Tabare - Never see him playing, don't know how the amateur player come to big Club like Milan.

Medical staff - I BLAME THEM A LOT COES ALL THE INJURIES WE HAD IN THE LAST SEASON, CMAN Berlusconi NON TEAM ID THE WORLD DIDN'T HAVE A MUCH INJURED PLAYERS AS WE HAD. IS IT FINALLY TIME TO WAVE THEM AND TELL THEM BB.

So what's your opinion on TRANSFER MARKET FOR THE NEXT SEASON?

I know Dzeko is need but we don't have a depth in squad i mean look at Manchester United, they have 2 players for each position... We need at least 5-6 players so we could be competiv next season...

Regards
Damir

Edin Dzeko is to step up to Milan! Milan vice president Adriano Galliani and director Ariedo Braida, on Thursday urgently flyed in BiH, and there talked with Edin and his father Midhat and agreed all the terms aboutDžek arrival at San Siro. Current German raider champion Wolfsburg by this arrangement would be earning three million euros a year, net. However, the problems for Wolfsburg, who continue to search 30 million for his players, Milan does not offer more than the 25th Jack was allegedly threatened 'wolves' that Dzeko will not sign a new contract with the club, that they must let him go to Milanelo.

since we got owned by inter with the ibra transfer this club has been horrendous with negotiations. it's painful to follow, like I think I'm gonna get an ulcer.

We are minus maldini and kaka after an extremely mediocre season, I find it hard to believe we’ll be in top 3 unless we start signing 3-4 first teamm members.

Don't hold your breath for that to happen, apparently only Dzeko is going to come and maybe if we're lucky a CB, no doubt it will either be some Brazilian kid or some Italian old timer reject (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)
