Nevermind.

It's a good move IMO, letting Mattioni, Senderos and Sheva leave. I would have kept Senderos as the 4th CB option but we surely can find someone as good, and cheaper (or even better!).

Finally Galliani says something regarding the trabsfers!
QUOTE
ADRIANO GALLIANI: "Il Milan sarà assolutissimamente competitivo"
11/06/2009

Santacroce n Zapata...Thank God Sheva has gone...now we'll be forced to get one striker and Kaka's replacement...Galliani said he likes Cassano...it seems like he'll arrive but as milan said they're tryna get Dzeko first..

I don't agree that Thiago Silva should be Maldini's replacement. He's not good enough, atleast not yet anyway.

And it's not just replacing Maldini, but the bigger picture should be looked at here. Nesta is so injury prone that we have to concider him as a bonus rather then a regular team player so we should think about getting a top class center back along with Thiago Silva.

Are they actually saying that Milan will have a central defensive pairing consisting of Thiago Silva and Favalli with Nesta maybe making an appearance or 2? Because I don't know about you lot but that does not really instill a lot of confidence in me. And shouldn't it be time for Favalli to hang up his boots, this is getting really ridiculous now.

ADRIANO GALLIANI: "Milan will be absolutely competitive"

MILAN - Here's what Adriano Galliani, Milan's delegate administrator, said today at the Lega Calcio: "Milan will absolutely be competitive. For each player that leaves an adequate replacement will be found. Maldini left, Thiago Silva arrived. Kaká left, an important player will arrive. Milan are not dismantling. Until today, aside from others who didn't play much, players like Emerson and Senderos have left, as well as Shevchenko and Mattioni who haven't been re-claimed."

MILAN - More from Adriano Galliani, today at the Lega Calcio: "For each player that goes, Milan will have an adequate replacement. Our two non-EU players will be Thiago Silva and Dzeko, if Dzeko comes."

Milan will be absolutely competitive... hmm... that goes right in my sig! I want to see if he's lived up to his words once the transfer window closed.

this is why galliani is an idiot.

milan wasnt competitive enough last season. now -kaka -malidni i'm wondering how will he maintaining this level of mediocrity let alone raise our silverware hopes.

keep in mind players like R20, kaladze, seedorf will only get slower and lazier and older and less motivated and with recent departures they take on more important roles (the idea sickens me). They haven't been up to the task in the previous seasons, then how can we even fathom resting most of our hopes on them now?!?!?

I'll bet anything this so-called important player is dzeko (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) would be an excellent signing but he is no kaka replacement.

Cassano? Can Leo handle this guy? Cassano and Rino on the same team??!!

But he's Italian. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) And a spot on the left did open up for us, with Ricky's departure.

...So we still have Sheva and Mattioni? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

Emerson & Senderos have left [...oh how simple words just seem to make you overjoyed] (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headphone.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/freak.gif)

EDIT :
Regarding Sheva and Mattioni question...
Never mind... in other reports I am now seeing that they have indeed left as well.

Gattuso may seem to be an aggressive player on the pitch. But I can hardly recall and incident in which he has made a spetical of himself other than there [...ie. the dressing room or otherwise]

Cassano possibly becoming a rossonero... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) Nice!

Seems very likely that Ibrahimovic would leave inter:

Sweden and Inter Milan forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic told Swedish TV station TV4 : "I already know where I will play next season, but I am not going to say it now ....".

As much as I would love for him to leave inter, this would br considered a blow of Serie A.
