QUOTE (Minami @ Jun 7 2009, 02:53 PM) he has said it every time there were talks about a transfer, that he wants to stay in milan. and so it is this time... perhabs i'm too optimistic about it but the last thing kaka said was, that he wants to stay at milan and that he won't talk about his future yet. i hope that we will see the finial dicision tomorrow night, because i really want to know what kaka says now. i really hope that he'll stay! Its alot more difficult than that. Right now its not even about whether or not he likes madrid or not. Its about Milan becoming competitive again. Its about milan rebuilding again. Silvio is forcing him out the club in order to revive the club or try to revive to club. Someone must be sacrificed because right now we have 60 million euros of debt. Now Silvio will spend another 70 million or approx around that amount. If he doesn't sell Kaka, we will be in 130 million euro debt. That is dangerous for an italian club because our revenue is so poor compared to other clubs that debt is not something we can afford to have like liverpool or manchester. Furthermore, he spent 8 million on kaka and will see a huge return on his investment. He spent 21 million on Ronaldinho and right now he can't even sell him for half of that. That is why he is keen on keeping Ronaldinho and having him improve next season and selling him after that as he slowly rebuilds our squad with younger players.

I thougth someone posted that it's one of the clubs that don't have any dept.... (IMG: style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) We don't have that big of a debt but look at how many players we signed last season: Viudez Cardaccio Ronaldinho Zambrotta Abbiati Antonini Thiago Silva Flamini Beckham Borriello Shevchenko Senderos Ronaldinho and zambrotta cost us 30 million together. Abbiati 3 million. Thiago silva 6 million. Borriello 9 million. Antonini 2 million. Viudez/cardaccio 5 millino. That right there alone is 55 million. Plus sheva earned a wage of 75k and didn't do anything. Beckham earned a huge wage, flamini earned a huge wage. Wages we usually pay when we are in champions league and with the revenue we recieve from it, we could afford to pay these wages but we were in uefa cup and it really hurt us so silvio paid out of his own pocket. Our income was 1/3 of what it was when we were in champions league. We didn't sell any of our best players so in order for us to afford all this and keep our debt reasonable would be to sign Ronaldinho, beckham and hold a big number of freindlies and use silvio's cheque book. So you see, last year silvio did alot for the club when it counted and right now he is selling our most valued player for the betterment of the club. If pirlo was worth 65 million, he would have sold him instead. He does care for the club, however personally I just wish he would sell it to someone who could afford to splash money every season.

QUOTE (MizNelson @ Jun 7 2009, 11:57 PM) If Kaka stays, then that's wonderful. However, if this whole mess then rears its ugly head AGAIN several months from now, I will be the first to buy his plane ticket. You think? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif) I'm sure he's leaving. Ever since January, its been coming. I'm positive the mancity stunt was pulled for so many reasons. First of all it made ricky available to other clubs. Second the rash anger of fans was released in January and at that time it came as a major shock. Right now its almost expected and the reaction from fans is mostly sadness and not rage, which is what berlu wants. Thirdly i'm sure carlo was fired 2-3 months ago when we had lost in the Uefa cup. So kaka's sale would be used to issue Leo's era a fresh and powerful start. If i'm wrong and he stays then its truly his decision and he will retire at this club.

QUOTE (Nova @ Jun 8 2009, 03:32 AM) Milan is bigger then Kaka , so if he wants to leave , the hell with him .
I really dont believe Milan have to sell him to straighten out the finances , I would rather think he wants to leave himself.
A very good player for Milan , but like sheva , his greedy departure will take his future legend status away. Not to mention his captaincy.
So off you go Kaka , dont let the door hit you on the way out and Forza Milan !!! Oh comon... where do you get this from. Its very obvious hes being forced out the door. Are you kidding me, greedy lol! We have over 60 million debt and with Galliani repeating over and over again these days that Italian clubs can't compete with other clubs financially should pretty much spell it clear for you; his sale is all business and nothing personal regarding the player. We have no choice but to sell him in order to compete. If Pato's price tag was higher than Kaka's he would have been sold. furthermore, Here's a news flash for you, if he really wanted to leave he would have left to to madrid when we got 5th place or to mancity when they were giving him 500k a week.

QUOTE Milan Chief Silvio Berlusconi: I Would Keep Kaka
Milan president Silvio Berlusconi still hopes that Kaka stays at the club, however, he has insisted that the decision is out of his hands as the move to Real Madrid is expected to take place today.
The Brazilian international is set to meet the Italian club's directors later today to inform them of his whereabouts next season. Reports around the world claim the move is all but done and that Kaka has a medical scheduled with Real Madrid medics in Brazil.
Despite the move seemingly tilting in Real Madrid's favour, Berlusconi claims he would retain Kaka if the whole saga was down to him.
"Like I said before, if it was down to me then I would keep him," Berlusconi told Il Corriere Dello Sport.
According to Italian reports, Berlusconi is set to speak with the ace, but he may not be able to persuade him to stay this time round. what a bunch of bs. I am losing respect for him by the day. We seriously need a new president.
