Keirrison is alot different to Pato and Kerlon. He's more of a goal-poacher ala' Romario. He's good with both feet, decent shot, good finisher, not particularly strong or big, has a good technic but without being able to do Pato'ish runs. He has quite a goal-scoring record for Palmeires, that's why there's so much talk about him these days. Don't think he has anything on Dzeko though.

He is the ONLY CB we have with offensive potential (with Thiaguninho) and shines when allowed to go upfield(a tactic carlo tried during alot of the "friendlies" with him that worked well. He has been very professional in his demeanure and has the "shut up and work" mentality you look for in a CB. I've seen him head away countless corners due to his good size and had the game of his life against chievo.

The difference is that Terry hasn't missed the entire season due to injury. And Gourcuff isn't coming back.

I wouldn't call the shots on gourcuff quite yet. If we get a new coach we must remember that any player could be sold and any player could be bought.

So we could sell gourcuff or we could sell kaka/pirlo. We could sign adebayor or we could sign david silva.


What my point is that we are looking at the transfer market from carlo's perspective and what realistic market maneuvers would happen when he is the coach. But if he is not the coach, I think its pretty much open to anything.

If leonardo becomes our coach expect our signings to be heavy brazillian youth favored. Rijkaard will probably look to bring some of his barca favs here. Van basten might look to huntelaar.


Anything can happen so its too early to speculate without a garuanteed coach.

And I think we'd challenge for something next season! of course we could use 1 deep lying midfielder because Pirlo is not producing magic anymore. sitting on bench a little could be good for him. a full back who can actually cross the ball is needed too. and don't tell me that's too many. this season we brought 11 players in while most thought it would not be more than 3/4.

I think there's more chance of Barry going to Spurs/Citeh than Milan, and I think there's 0% chance he'll go to Spurs or Citeh..

I think he may even stay another year, just to be certain of his starting place in the 2010 World Cup (if we make it), then he'll leave on a free next summer.
