I know it's a minority view but as far as I'm concerned, Gourcuff can stay in Ligue 1. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I'd rather have Abate.

Gourcuff is better than the seedorf that starts for milan..and the thing people don't know is that he'll definitely get better...Seedorf is old, he can't get any better..Look at Hamsik...young and very dangerous..He's going to get better just like Gourcuff will get better too....Gourcuff is very good and better than seedorf now and will get better which will benefit us in the future....He has grown in stature and can get better..guyys Gourcuff is young..In 2-3 years he'll be better than he is now...He's better than some midfielders we have...I pray he comes back

We have no proof he or any young player will get better. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) We certainly hope he will but it's never a given.

I still don't see what everyone else does in the guy. Would rather take the 15 million from the buyout and buy a good centerback.

Of course i'll take a very good centree back...but he has a very major talent which seems to be getting better...on club level as well as international level...He can be our iniesta for milan...In any case, whether he comes back or he doesn't milan would still buy a good centre back...Very much needed...but plus him, this could provide the much needed depth for us...Man U has tons of players in their squad...ROTATION IS NEEDED FOR MILAN BUT ANCELOTTI DOESN'T DO THAT AT ALL...EVERY OTHER COACH DOES....I wish he comes back...most of our midfield players aren't as good as Gourcuff is..I'm just sayin...but what if or when Gourcuff comes back and surprises you Tennie, what u gon say? b/c Gourcuff is not bad at all..why would madrid or even Chelsea want him?

Thanks for posting that link, kenny. I'm not so sure that the write of the article really knows what he's talking about, but I do agree with you that Abate should be recalled.

what's wrong with the article? Everything can happen easily.....

Uhm. Yes, there is rotation. Not as much as some might like but the rotation is there.

And how can you possibly say that most of our midfielders aren't at Gourcuff's level, Kenny? Have you seen him play at all since he went to Bordeaux? Have you seen the level the rest of his teammates (or for that mater the level of the opposing teams) in Ligue 1? Not the same level as at Milan and comparing performances at the two teams is not valid for that reason. Gourcuff has done well at Bordeaux but that is no guarantee he'd do well anywhere else - because I doubt a Madrid or a Chelsea would build an entire team around him, whereas that's what has been done at Bordaux. Milan is certainly not going to build a team around him - frankly, he's not that good. Very few players are.

Why would I prefer to see Abate back? He's fast, he can cross the ball beautifully, and he's managed to have a breakout season at TORINO, who are not doing well this year at all. He's been pretty much the only consistent bright spot on the whole team, even pushign Rosina to the bench for months at a time. The fact that he's done very well at one of the poorer teams in the league indicates mental toughness - the fact that it's a Serie A team indicates that he's used to the league and won't need an adjustment period.

If he should come back and do well, I'll admit I was wrong. Don't have a problem doing that either. Still don't like Beckham, for example, and am happy to admit that I was wrong about him. He has done very well indeed for Milan. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Well, the article quotes no sources and seems more speculation than anything else. It could just as easily be something you or I publish. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I would like to see him and thiago silva next season!!! Maybe if Nesta get better that will be a fantastic trio but I am pessimistic about Alessandro.

The calculation youth=good=ensured progress is a very wrong calculation. i get that Seedorf now is a persona non grata. Okay, let it be, to be honest, he did poor many times this season. But based on what do you state that Gourcuff is getting better? Do you watch his Bordeaux performances?

No. If you watched Gourcuff you should know that there's no resemblence of the two players other then "midfielder" in general specification and dark hair.

Never said I did like him. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

But that doesn't change the fact that I disagree completely with your reasoning, kenny. I don't think you've seen enough of GOurcuff play this year to make a fair judgment about his abilities and potential to be a starter for the club. I also wonder how much of Milan's games you watch when you say that there's no rotation. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) It's rather clear you're on the 'Carlo Must Die' bandwagon.

I'd rather trust someone like Gattuso who said in an interview to Mediaset that Gourcuff shows talent but that he was sometimes not ready when he was given chances (in other words, he played poorly when given the opportunity to do so).

I've watched every single milan game this season including UEFA Cup and the friendlies...Carlo played players base on performances and form....The way the see other teams rotate players compared to milan..tis almost that milan doesn't rotate....Its either Ambro is injured then Flamini plays or pirlo in jured then janku is moved to the midfield for favalli to shift to the left to play and senderos then plays centre...Or inzaghi just hit form then he plays games till he gets a flu or something then we'll shift back to 4-3-2-1 still leaving Sheva out...I know milan in and out....All i'm sayin is that Gourcuff could be better with all these players around him...Pato is indespensible now..and i hope gourcuff will become one when or if he comes back..So let me ask u a question Tennie? Gourcuff vs Seedorf who'll u pick to be on ur team? look at Giovinco...he's improved a lot and thats cuz he's playing and he's good..IMO i wish he comes bak

And I don't think other teams necessarily do things very differently: the cugini don't, chelsea doesn't, hamburg doesn't, etc etc etc. not everyone rotates 4-5 players every single week. The reason for this is that it makes it harder for a cohesive unit to form as the season goes on. Liverpool is not the example to take for this sort of thing.

You're welcome to believe Gourcuff will Save Us All. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I don't think there's any guarantee he'd be a success and think he may turn out to be more trouble than he's worth if he returns.

True..everyone has their own beliefs and thoughts..I'm not saying that he'll save milan..but he'll make milan better compared to the players we have now..everyone and anyone is entitled to think what they want..but i hope hee comes back
