QUOTE (Locke Lamora @ Feb 28 2009, 05:43 PM) And Inter weren't a top level team under Mancini? no i dont think so. stats: Last season: mancini: GP 38, WINS: 25, DRAWS: 10, LOSS: 3, POINTS= 85; GOAL SCORED: 69; GOALS AGAINST: 26 mourinho so far: GP: 25; WINS: 18; DRAWS: 5; LOSSES: 2, POINTS=59, GOALS SCORED: 44, GOALS AGAINST:18 If mourinho wins the next 13 games lets say, he'll finish with 98 points. But its only 70% through the season and anything can happen. We'll wait and see but for me mourinho has been playing much better football than mancini was last year.

QUOTE (Bluesummers @ Mar 1 2009, 01:23 AM) Hey comon now. He's also won a champions league, something mancini has yet to do. That game hasn't been decided yet. If mourinho goes through, i'll have a laugh on your behalf.
Question... Do you consider wenger a more successful coach than mourinho? Mourinho won a CL with Porto yes. And do you really think Inter will go to Old Trafford and win? You saw how shaky they were at home, how on earth will they do away? As for the Wenger vs Mourinho, then Mourinho may have a more impressive trophy list but I doubt he could have revolutionised not just a club but an entire league the way Wenger has done. Not to mention I find Wenger, tiresome, arrogant and often annoying as he is to be a much more likable, funny and interesting guy than Mourinho.

I think in football success means being the very best club on earth or at least try to achieve that. You achieve that by winning trophies. Mourinho has done that and never played pro football; furthermore he did it with a team like porto. That is why i respect him so much. Like i said if he does win, i'm gonna say I told you so (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

As much as I've got tired of Wenger lately I too think he's done an amazing job at Arsenal. Not at winning trophies only, he's changed the whole image of the club! As for inter... I think they certainly have a chance at Old Trafford. They do not need to win as you said, they do not even need to score. And if they do... United will have to score one more... they're surely not out yet!

So, seeing as this is the summer transfer thread, which player(s) would you like to see come in during the summer transfer window?

Probably unrealistic, but I wouldn't mind us scooping up Rene Adler, as we need a long-term GK. Sadly, Didas do not last forever. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
