I would sooner play Seedorf in the trequartista rather than R80. R80 doesn't add anything at all to our general gameplay and is only really at his best if/when we get freekicks near to goal. Credit to carlo for being brave and leaving him on the bench (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

There isn't a problem with emersons foot the probem is just emerson and his big mouth. The sooner we get rid of deadwood like him the sooner we can move forwards and upwards.

Let's all hope so, I personally think Seedorf is a big part of how our team plays, I just think he holds us back when he's playing in the AM role, he's better playing further back, and lately he's been a bit noncalant. I would prefer starting with R80 and Seedorf/Beckham, then Carlo assesses during the game which one of the 3 need to either be taken off/be put on.

Seedorf unless playing out of his skin like he did against Man U in the CL is a hindrance playing the AM role, because he slows down the play too much and when he feels like he doesn't want to play he misplaces a lot of passes


He's too slow and misplaces 75% of his passes when he's having one of 'his' days. Those 'attributes' imo, are more of a hindrance when he plays in the attacking mis position rather then in the midfield 3

I can see no reason why Seedorf should play this kind of games. Ronaldinho has been just as bad as the Dutch and at least with him there's hope that with time he will get better and better.

At 28 he should be in his prime! As for Seedorf when he wants it he is still one of our best players - unfortunately he doesn't seem to want it that much nowadays (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Yes, he is in his prime. What I meant is that I'm expecting him to get close to his former self. I would not say he's been a flop as he's proved decisive but even in those games when he scored he was not helping our play at all. I still have hope for him though while I have given up on Seedorf. I truly cannot understand what Ancelotti is doing with him, no other coach would tolerate this behavior for more than a handful of games but he has allowed it to happen for 3 years now! Seedorf is a spent force for me.

I would rather play two forwards than play R80. Agree that Seedorf is totally frustrating though, like I said on his day he is capable of changing games on his own - unfortunately he doesn't do it anywhere near enough now!

Me too. I'm just saying, if one of the two has to play, Ronaldinho would definitely be my choice.


That's the saddest thing, we all know Seedorf can do amazing things but if he does not feel like playing he must not play, it's as simple as that!

Hopefully next season the CL will give everybody, especially Dinho, the right motivation... I still believe Dinho's problem is nothing but a lack of motivation [it annot be that he's physically finished at the age of 28!!]. Pirlo's problem may be the same too. same for Kaka and anyone who's under-performing/not playing up to his real potential.

What really p!sses me off about Seedorf is not him picking and choosing games as he wishes, other players on our team do the same thing sometimes, but it's his attitude when things don't go his way, ie gets subbed off or dropped. He brings out the attitude, which Carlo tolerates.

A player like him should be an example to the other younger players on the team not act like a pre-madonna when things don't go his way. No other coach would tolerate this kind of behaviour and Carlo shouldn't either

I have no problem with that, a win is a win. It's just when we throw games away after taking the lead because we only have a 1 goal lead that it's annoying.

ok..the answer to that is a new coach with different tactics..New coach, new environment..New discipline!!
