exactly you got it dead on. One more point to add is that berlu could have told man city and kaka's agent that he is a player till 2013 and right now we are not going to talk about a renewal. If kaka had decided he wanted out than that would be fine. This hasn't even been negotiated with kaka. kaka's agent and berlu are all thinking about how to get the most money asap.

berlusconi has shown his true colours over this! he is nothing more than a filthy crook.

FULL REPORT:

QUOTE
Tonight could be the decisive night in the Kaká transfer saga. The Brazilian's father and agent Bosco held talks earlier this evening with Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani for two hours, and at the moment he is talking Manchester City executive Gary Cook.

Earlier today around 500 Milan fans presented themselves at the club's headquarters at Via Turati to protest against the player's likely departure, and now they have moved to Via Saffi, near Kaká's house. Their objective is to try and reach their idol's heart, as they already managed to do with constant chanting during Saturday's match against Fiorentina.

It seems the fans have succeeded at least in that, judging by the player's reaction. According to Sky Sport 24, the Ballon d'Or winner came to the window to salute the fans who were present, beating his hand on his chest and waving with the Rossoneri's shirt.

But that doesn't necessarily mean the deal won't go through, does it?! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

I don't believe in this. I've read what you written about the matter and I understand it but I don't agree. My opinion remains the one I expressed before, the only parties that want this deal to go through is Kaka's father and Fininvest.
I'm quite sure Berlusconi wants Kaka to stay as much as we do and he would not consider any offer if he was not pushed to!

I think we all knew before hand what he was. I just never imagined he would do this to Milan, a club he claims to love.

With that said, Milan has always been a marketing tool for Silvio, notice, he's always around for a photo op that makes him look good or when Milan win trophies, but he's never around when things get rough and the media is negative.

Galliani has his faults but if he had someone behind him that was willing to back him up I'm pretty sure his decisions would be very different from the ones he's currently being forced to make

To begin with Galliani had lunch with berlusconi and berlusconi apparently told him to do what was necessary. I feel had this had been Sheva then berlusconi would have stopped it way before now. Also reading between the lines it seems Galliani was the one trying to keep Ricky and not berlusconi.
