QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ Jan 16 2009, 11:21 PM) We're just being fooled by journalistic fantasy.
If Kaka stays it will be a releaf. For 100% of Milan fans.
If Kaka leaves, life goes on. Milan still stands. QUOTE (Tennie @ Jan 16 2009, 11:28 PM) Sounds to me like this place has become AC Kaka. I don't get either of you. What does Milan still stands mean? Milan will always stand even if they kicked out Maldini. That's not what's at stake here... the thing is, we're turning into what we have been laughing at, take a step back and see it at last! And it's not about Kaka. Whoever was in his place and was just sold for the "right price" as it seems to be would get the same treatment from the fans. Of course Milan is bigger than any individual but Milan is after all a team and she consists of players. As of yesterday we were proud of how they treated them but suddenly it does not matter anymore because Milan will still exist tomorrow, right? No one said Milan would be destroyed if Kaka left. With the money that will come this way a team much stronger and more successful can be built. But I did not know we were here only to celebrate Milan's victories. I thought a fan loves his club for what it is and represents not for its victories...

It's not AC Kaka'...It'll be still AC Milan....but, I'll be cheering them with a little less conviction today against Fiorentina. I'm really desapointed about all this stuff....If Kaka' wants to go, life goes on....team goes on. But here something its changing...the spirit of AC Milan have been sold....we are a step closer to became a Real Madrid, Chelsea or Inter kind...we are losing the class. We are selling real love. Feels like Milan have betrayed its Symbol.
When Kaka' said he wanted to get old in the team and become the captain, i was very happy. I though the only way Kaka' would leave was if he wanted....I never imagine that AC Milan would want to sell him, not even for all the money in the world....now I can't trust in the society anymore
Sad...really sad....

dst, we turned into a circus worthy of scorn the moment we signed Ronaldo. And then Ronaldinho. And then Beckham. We became a team looking only to sell jerseys and be in the media a long time before Man City made their bid. There was precious little of Milan's reputation left at the beginning of this week. The Kaka saga hasn't improved things; far from it, it's only completed the cycle.
What I don't quite understand is why nobody else sees that and only focuses on the Kaka thing.

(IMG: style_emoticons/default/king.gif) It matters not which players come and go, how many owners does the club change hands into, who coaches for how long, thing is Milan the club isn't going anywhere. It's been here for over a 100 years, and there is no reason why it won't be here after another 100. But how we conduct ourselves is all that matters. Fans and press said we sold our soul when Beckham came here. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) I wonder what's this, then? Can't really agree with the Ronaldo thing (we needed someone in the attack then, and while there were better options available at that time), he wasn't exactly brought in to sell jerseys. He was here to help us reach the 4th place. He did his best, how ever fate allowed him. At least he helped us land Pato. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Other than that, Becks and Bucktooth, we could have done without. They're just here to bring in $$$. Circus it is, yes.

What I don't quite understand is why nobody else sees that and only focuses on the Kaka thing. I think we've long past seen that and come to live with it in piece. You know that I accepted the route the management took in order to make up for losses because of the the CL, Dinho and Beckham to be exact. But I always saw it as a route the club took in order too keep all the stars and keep them happy. But now, having lived with the fact that they've turned Milan into a retirment home for old Gollacticos, I have to also stand here and see them sell off Kaka to the highest bidder is a bitter pill that I just cannot swollow. There could have been better solutions then this, one of them getting rid of the free loaders on the team that get wages higher then Maldini's and kicking their @sses out the door. Our management have stooped to a new low that I would have never though possible.

QUOTE (Tennie @ Jan 17 2009, 07:01 PM) What I don't quite understand is why nobody else sees that and only focuses on the Kaka thing. Because until now, even with Ronaldo, Ronaldinho and Beckham Milan still was the team that stood by its players more than any other. Until now Milan was the team that waited for Pippo to return, that stayed alongside Ambro despite all his injuries, that tried hard to convince Gattuso to stay when everyone was saying he was finished, that despite their age still renewed Maldini's, Costacurta's, Favalli's contract. Until now even with those players you mentioned the fans were still proud of these things that made Milan special... I fail to see what's so special about Milan right now.

I'm having the same trouble, dst. Do I still support the club? Yes. Do I think that at this point with what we know (leaving aside the possibility that details will filter out in the future) now that Milan is substantially different from other clubs? Not really. Am I disappointed? Absolutely. thing is, my disappointment has been building for a couple of years, so this latest blow isn't quite the shock to me as it seems to be for a lot of others.

Now I'm just waiting for Galliani to come out and say that the team is fine as it is and there won't be any transfers made after he gets his big pay day.

QUOTE (gal_kenny @ Jan 17 2009, 06:31 PM) Let's take a look? How successful has Juventus been since they sold Zidane to Real Madrid..It was rather Madrid that was the better team.......We don't need to sell Kaka..Money ain't everything...All my milan friends and friends that aren't milan supporters don't support this move....This is killing football!!! I was surprised when they said it cuz they always rivals with me when it comes to soccer!!! Kaka is the best player in the world...how do u sell ur star player or one of the most important player in ur team? I've been praying hard that milan don't make this move...and i hope that my prayers come to pass Even if by some miracle this move does not go through, Kaka will be gone come summer. I think he's got the message pretty loud and clear. Milan don't value him and are willing to sell him, not only that, but force him out against his own will. He'll push for a move come summer, he won't want to stay where he is not wanted and frankly I don't blame him
