I never talked about the season standings. I just SAID and I'll say it over and over again -- I don't think Ancelottis tactics were a complete faliure nor do I think the coach should be 100% or even more then 50% responsible for the last season complete failure!

Maldini. Hah!! He's not playing much these days. If it were different I'm sure we'd allready have some of those "should have retired a long time ago" posts. Cause that's what I remember reading over and over agin last season.

To me they are a failure, if you concider the CL win as an accomplishment then so be it, but I don't cincider that something that Carlo achieved, rather Kaka's brilliance and shear determination to drag the team on even through the toughest of times.

As for Maldini, I can only speak for myself but, I never once said that he should have retired a long time ago, you can chack all my posts and you'de never find something like that in my posts.

@kurt GREAT POST!!

Although I disagree with a couple of points you made regarding Pirlo, Nesta, etc but I agree with everything else you said. It's harsh but brutally honest.

It all starts from the Top Management. If they cannot care less. How can the rest of the team?
I mean if the Baldy Guy really wants back-to-back wins, he would've sacked Carlo Ancelotti a long time ago. But no. Cuz why? Cuz he's a coward.

Okay, my responses in order.

zd, why do you insist on the pessimism in thinking we're going to fall down the table? Pirlo's back, Ronaldinho is hitting form, and traditionally Milan start playing their best football after the winter ritiro.

If Kaka were benched for poor play - and I think he should be - I can only imagine the howls of outrage that would come. It may be a fault of Ancelotti for starting the names even if they play poorly, but if some people point fingers at his insistence on playing 2 DMs, then I'm going to point fingers at him playing a Kaka in sucktastic form. And the thing is, even if he did whatever it is we'd like to see him do, there's no proof at all that it would have any change in the results of games.

OK, I'll just answer this and we'll continue it maybe some other day.

One thing I don't get is this 'Milan will start playing better from January'. I don't feel Milan is the only team that benefits from the winter break. if Milan will start playing better, so will likes of Juve, Inter, etc. I don't see it as an specific advantage for Milan.

As for Milan falling down the table, I could be wrong. time will tell. I think we will not be in the 2nd place come January. we have one tough game tonight and four in a row before the break. the way we're playing right now I can't see us grabbing all 15 points from these 5 fixtures.

I like Kaka but if his benching means a better Milan I don't have any problem with that!

I don't get this quote, Tennie (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Of course there isn't any guarantee. but one thing is certain, we're playing poorly and something needs to be done. if changes don't work and we still continue playing like this, then the coach should be shown the exit door!

Anywhere in the world, the coach is the 1st person responsible for a team's poor results/performances because he is the one who decides which players play. I just don't understand this 'the coach is as much at fault as the players'. I respectfully think this is a very wrong statement, Tennie.

i would like to comment on kaka thing.... pirlo was terrible last year but still very important to milan play and we strugled even more without him and same is with kaka we struggle without him and even if he is not playing at his best he can win games IMO just like pirlo add something extra kaka does it too even if they are not playing to their full potential this has been the case over the last couple of seasons

A very good point.

+1 cookie to han. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/96.gif)

My sentiments precisely. I don't think I'm ever going to fully agree with han, zd, and kurt with regard to the coach and some other things. They're not likely ever to fully agree with me. That's cool. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

So...the game starts in 90 minutes. Given the unpopularity of the Christmas tree (but without Kaladze in defense), what are your thoughts on the game?

Not particularly healthy ones, I'm afraid. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Unless the team steps up big time from the display of the last few matches, I'd half expect us to come back with a draw - or at best another late 1-0 strike. We could do with all 3 points, though, so yeah, hopefully we show some good energy.

Forza Milan! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/devil.gif) As always!

We're predictable for the opponents only. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) For everyone else (including the fans and media) we're about as unpredictable as they come. So yeah, it's not easy forecasting the result, when you don't know which Milan will show up. At least for me it isn't.

Well let's just say I'm not confident about it and end it there.
