I don't think its possible for him to loose his 'goal scoring' nose [at least not this season] considering that he never really started of scoring this season yet. {Nothing against the 'majority' of his performances so far though}

Going to agree to disagree with you on this one, acid. Someone better with stats than me can look up the relevant ciomparitive statistics but when he's played, Borriello has been quite important to the team. He may not have scored a bunch of goals but he's done other things that are, well, IMPORTANT. Like, for example, providing assists to other guys who then score or moving off the ball to pull away defenders so other guys are free to score or tracking back to defend when its needed. He's got a higher average player rating than any of the Brazilians, for example. Gattuso is the only outfield player with a higher average rating.

Borriello re-started his Milan career greatly. though in recent games he's started to look like the former Borriello/Gila. he was not the Zurich or Lazio game Borriello.

Looks to me like he's losing it. recurrent injuries [and Belen cheating on him!] don't help any.

He's gone to Dubai, if memory serves. Hopefully the injury issues are over. His long affair with Argentine model Belen Rodriguez is also over. That's been quite a soap opera too and can't have helped his state of mind too much. She was on a reality show (Isola dei Famosi) that's sort of a celebrity version of Survivor. During the show, she was said to have had an affair with Ivana Trump's 4th husband. She came back from the show and found that Marco had moved out of their flat. She was all over the media with interviews, saying stuff ranging from 'I thought he was smarter than that' to 'I want to have Marco's child'. For his part, Marco gave 1 interview (to Vanity Fair) in which he stated that while he still loved Belen, things were definitely over as they were just incompatible. He also said 'I'd like to imagine a different mother for my children' and stated that he wished she'd stop talking about the whole thing. According to the interview, he wants to get on with his career.

EDIT: Hah. spoke too soon. Apparently Galliani stated today that Borriello is likely to be out all of January.

If what Baldy says is true and Borriello is likely to be out until February, that will make his absence almost 3 months! (he hasn't played since the Lecce game if I'm not mistaken - November 9). I don't know what you guys think, but I doubt it is [only] injury problems.
