Carlo never blames the ref for bad result. He mentions ref decisions yeah but not this way... he is clearly frustrated and I hope he understands, no matter what he said on the press, that HE ****ED UP TONIGHT!

Damn... at times like these only Jack can make me feel better. I mean... Jack Daniels.

What's worse, he stopped by winning match-thread-opening streak at one. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) Why oh why, Carlo!

I was 1/1 with the Lazio thread, and now this Lecce thingy. At least, I'm still unbeaten but I'd certainly not be lying if I said that it upset me more than or loss. I mean we're still one point off from the top. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) But yeah, bad day in the office for me today. The best thing that happened to me today is that I'm enjoying the Gladiator DVD. inter winning? Check. We drawing with a Serie B club? Double check.

Carlo has resorted to childish referee bashing it appears. If he never brought on Emo, or introduced Pato and Inzaghi earlier, we wouldnt be in this position. True Borri didnt exactly have his shooting boots on today, but if we played with two strikers and Pato from the start (or HT) we would have caused much more damage

Carlo will always be the same, we will never pick up the points against the provincial teams, especially away from home (Cagliari and now Lecce)

Well said. That's another thing: I don't recall the last time I saw Carlo bring players on right at the half time break. This gives you an idea of his stubbornness. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/angry.gif) I mean, yeah, I can understand putting your faith in the players, but if someone's having a bad day, substitute him already.

Look at Mourinho today, he took of Quaresma off exactly at half time, and brought on Cruz. Look how that move paid off. A 0-0 draw for them would have eased things up for us. But no, with Carlo you have to wait till the 60th, 70th, even 80th minute to see a sub. I even remember Gorcuff and Gila coming in on the 90th minute or close to it. Whoa!

What kind of a moronic, idiotic retard would do that?! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) Sorry Carlo, you've been very good at times, but this is beyond unacceptable. Good thing Gila didn't say a word about that 90 minute substitution thingy. A guy like Seedorf would have brought down the sky and everything in it.

Here are Datasport's ratings. I think they're a little more realistic than goal.com's (though Fishdoll wants to know what the writers are smoking, seems like it must be good stuff for them to come up with stuff like today's ratings):

Abbiati 6
Bonera 6
Jankulovski 6.5
Favalli 6
Zambrotta 5.5
Seedorf 6
Gattuso 7
Kaka` 5.5
Flamini 6.5
Emerson s.v.
Pato 6.5
Borriello 5.5
Ronaldinho 7
Inzaghi 5

Thanks for the ratings, Ten. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) No, the only player I'd rate 6 would be Ronaldinho. In second place with 5.5 would be Janks and Pato. And then most of them all fivers, with Abbiati a 4. And Emerson a big fat zero. We do have to keep in mind the team we're playing against when we rate. Seems like the Datasport fellas didn't.

And to think that our biggest worry before the game was Kaladze playing.

Ronaldinho a 7? please (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

He was ordinary all night. his free kicks were off target. his passes were misplaced. his shots were awful. only did an easy job and tapped the ball into the goal. he doesn't get better than 5.5 or 6 in my eyes.

And Borriello... hope I'm wrong but he's turning out what I expected the day we re-signed him. I said he wouldn't do anything better than Gila, etc. but his first performances really made me eat my words. and now I see he's becoming that Borriello again... the one that tries a lot but remains unsuccessful at the end of the day. hope I'm wrong about all this though...

Gattuso was MotM for me. he really is in his best form since joining Milan. I'm not sure if it doesn't have anything to do with Pirlo's absence (he has the freedom to express himself in the midfield, instead of passing every ball he gets to Pirlo)

QUOTE (goal.com)
Kaka – 8.0: Brilliant as always. Set up so many attacking plays for his side, and provided great service to Borriello, Ronaldinho and co. all match. Was extremely unlucky not to score tonight, however he can certainly hold his head up high following that performance.

Ronaldinho – 7.5: Wonderful match by the Brazilian, who broke the deadlock after 79 minutes. Only criticism tonight was that he wasn’t as influential as his fellow Brazilian Kaka, in that he was in and out of the match at times.

In my opinion Borriello, together with Gattuso were absolutely the best players on the field for us last night. And I'm not saying either of them was great but they were trying while the rest of the team (apart from Flamini) thought they would win by walking... and yes Borriello missed all those chances but he got himself into a position to be able to take them... never did he stand immobile waiting for the ball to come to his feet. He was involved in all our attacking plays and he even set up Kaka to a one-on-one... Excuse me, but I'd rather see my players go down fighting than win by pure luck while not caring!
