QUOTE (han2503 @ Nov 9 2008, 12:18 PM) *
We're already playing with 1 striker now even without Pirlo. Who is he going to take out to put Pirlo back into the squad? Kaka? Dinho? Seedorf? The lone striker? Non of them can be removed from the squad, so the logical thing for him to do would be to replace one of the DMFs. Of course, Carlo and logical don't go well together so he'll probably remove Seedorf and still play with 2 DMFs (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Right now we sometimes play with two strikers. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (though Pato has to play as a winger) I think when Pirlo returns we won't see two strikers on the pitch anymore...

Problem with Carlo is he just can't rotate the squad's key players in a way we can keep on winning. especially Kaka and Pirlo and in a way Rino and Seedorf seem to be untouchable for him... they should play in almost every league game.

I was being mildly sarcastic when I made that post, harking back to when Galliani rejected Boruc (or was it Frey?) because he was "too expensive."

Nobody gets you! You're alone in this big cruel world. How do you feel?

So who's going to play in defense today? It's going to be him, right? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Just wonderful, 'cause this is the one Milan forum that's populated by people who are just as twisted as me. I don't think I need to name names. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

At least he's better than Favalli.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I knew that there was sarcasm laced in there somewhere, I'm just still p!ssed off about the whole Ivanovic saga

And I think it was both goalkeepers that were labeled as too expensive, even €15m for Boruc, who imo is a class goalkeeper, something that is really hard to find nowadays and €15m is not that much money in today's football world.

But Galliani was 'persuing' Abbiati for a long time and he's happy that we have him as our No 1 keeper, even though he was out on lone and still on our books (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I'm afraid Voldemort will indeed play in defense, MizNelson. Along with Bonera, who I think has been doing a rather decent job so far. As for Favallinho, I still think he did well enough (especially given that he's really a left back) as a CB against Napoli. He also trained separately for part of the week so that to me indicates it'll probably be Voldemort.

So here's my guess at a lineup:
Abbiati
Zambrotta Bonera Voldemort Jankulovski
Flamini Gattuso Seedorf
Kaka Ronaldinho
Borriello

I'd still prefer to see Borriello-Pato in front of Kaka.

Unfortunately I think neither Kaka-Ronaldinho-Pato nor Kaka-Ronaldinho-Borriello will work well and bring us victories in the long run.

Milan has to play with two strikers, specially in the league versus smaller teams. (I know saying this is becoming an ugly cliche... just like Carlo's Christmas tree).

I'd like to see Sheva - Borriello upfront with Kaka behind them.
