QUOTE (CrazyMilanFan @ Oct 26 2008, 05:00 PM) Thanks QUOTE (Mook @ Oct 26 2008, 05:01 PM) Very lucky to escape with the 3 pts. Very interested to see the player ratings for this game. Besides Bonera and Pato, I'd probably give everyone else 6 or less. Hopefully Seedorf is available to play midweek against Siena, otherwise were going to see that same trio in the middle again. QUOTE (han2503 @ Oct 26 2008, 04:49 PM) I think Carlo makes these subs to try and p!ss people off.
Taking off Rino at such a crucial time in the game? Not very smart I reckon. Let's just hope we can hold on for a couple more minutes He was injured for fs (he took a hard nock in his right leg). Why are you all jumping to early conclusions when you are not even watching a game (even though we all know that Carlo likes to close the squad in final minutes when score is close). Let's just hope that Seedorf, Flaimini and Gattuso will recover for Wednesday or atleast two of them. All in all it was a bad game, but in recent seven years we have always suffered and lost almost every game in Bergamo against Atalanta (even when we had younger - some would say better - team and even when Atalanta was weaker and in no form like this year). So we should thank our squad and also a bit of luck for this win. FORZA MILAN!!!

QUOTE (elcordobez @ Oct 26 2008, 05:22 PM) Was Flamini injured?
He looked fine to me before he came off,he was fairly active and going in for challenges.
Looked like he had a mini-spat with Rino wonder if that's why we came off. Don't think so, he must have had some sort of tigh strain, he went off the pitch at one point to get some treatment before being subbed out, he must have been unable to run it off

QUOTE (zdrossoneri @ Oct 26 2008, 05:40 PM) Looks like 20 minutes appearances for Pato has started again (IMG: style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Yes but Puma needs his playing time too, let's not forget he's still in that stage in his carreer where it's crucial for him to play games because of his development (IMG: style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

QUOTE (YoungGun @ Oct 26 2008, 05:52 PM) It reminds me our last Scu. No matter how bad we played, no matter the minutes, we always won, goals often came from 92th-96th minutes (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Yeah, but we played great footbal that season and it was a rarity that we had a bad game. You would have never seen us playing with 3 defensive mids against a team like Atalanta. Our bad games were just that, an odd night when things aren't going your way. These days our bad games are because of the bad decisions made by Carlo had we played with another striker and taken off one of the DMFs we would have closed this game earlier

Gosh, people are really negative today. Seedorf got hurt in warmups and there wasn't a lot of choice as to who else to field, though I like you guys would've preferred Pato in there from the start instead of Flamini.
Here are datasport's player ratings:
MILAN Abbiati 6 Maldini 6 Zambrotta 5 Bonera 5 Jankulovski 5 Gattuso 5.5 Ambrosini 6 Emerson 6.5 Kaka` 6.5 Flamini 5 Antonini s.v. Pato 6 Borriello 7 Ronaldinho 6

these are the kind of games that usually we usually lost in the last minutes of the game.
even the best teams win 1-0 games.
great result...always good to see kaka on the scoresheet.
