Barca got out of jail today. Barca 1-0 down till the last few minutes, and then they scored a lucky goal when the opposing teams were unfocused due to an injury. Barca were being ruthless, if it had been any of the Italian teams, it would have been cynical/unsportsmanlike. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

QUOTE (vnata001 @ Oct 1 2008, 11:32 PM) watching the liverpool-psv match. nordin amrabat is another young, exciting Dutch central midfield talent. Very good ball winner, great dribbling/ball control, venomous shot from anywhere. reminds me a lot of the way clarence plays, except more pace and less patience. very good player though. Will end up anywhere but Milan (IMG: style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) QUOTE (Darunia @ Oct 2 2008, 05:21 AM) Gourcuff scored a good goal against Roma and was Bordeaux's man of the match... http://videos.sapo.pt/3BZYFOuhqrcWbchvBFfh Great goal. BREAKING NEWS: Two Juve Fans Tragically Die
The build-up to tonight's Champions League clash between Juventus and Real Madrid has been hit by tragedy after at least two Bianconeri fans died in a bus accident.
Two Juventus fans have died in a motorway smash near Turin this afternoon.
The accident involved the coach they were travelling on which was on its way to the Stadio Olimpico for the game between the Bianconeri and Real Madrid.
The incident happened near the Etroubles district in Gran San Bernardo valley. The coach was full of tourists which were Juventus fans from Switzerland.
Early reports suggest the bus, which was travelling on the SS 27 road towards Turin, veered off the carriageway and smashed into a house.
Emergency services rushed to the scene where it was confirmed that two people have been killed and at least 10 passengers are seriously injured.
Those involved in the crash were rushed to hospital via air ambulance. The rescue is on going and firefighters are still cutting their way through the wreckage as they attend to those trapped inside the coach. It is unknown as to whether or not the accident will effect the game later this evening.
A full police investigation has been launched.

Ahahahaha!!! First of all, Porto have a player named Hulk!!!!?!! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) How many goals tonight, I lost track! I watched the Fiorentina game. The result was flattering for Bayern they did not deserve to win with that margin and the Viola should have scored. And Lyon won too so now Fiorentina have a great task ahead of them... I don't think they can make it! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Bravo Juve!! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) They beat those whiners!!! Zenit created so many chances but still did not manage to win, they have been awfully unfortunate! Arsenal looked on fire. But if Song and Diaby both scored you know Fener have done something totally wrong! Bravo Ramsey! Porto... (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) did I mention they have a player named Hulk!??! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Berbatov scored two goals from an offside position (with a sweet touch on the first one) and then a perfectly valid one scored by Rooney was disallowed for offside... how did Berbatov managed to do that anyway, I doubt even Pippo has achieved such greatness! The Villareal game was amateurish... both teams forgot how to defend! Player of the day: Rooney! Goal of the day: Alessandro!!! Superb! Hulk... (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Rooney was brilliant. Fabio's really done a number on him.

QUOTE (Portikins @ Oct 22 2008, 01:42 AM) And you think Juve will? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I don't even think they'll get the 1st place in the group stage. They'll be out by the 1/16's finals. Did I say Juve would? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) I just said they should concentrate on the CL because they're a totally different team for obvious reasons [more or less the same reasons that saw us win the CL two years ago]. they have a better chance there than in the league IMO. and if I were ever to bet on which team between Real and Juve will go further in the CL, I'd bet on Juve (IMG: style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) multi-million buys every season and even being the champions of Spain doesn't necessarily mean greater chances in Europe. first of all Madrid still lack a standout player. all of them are more or less in the same level, no Zizou type player anymore. secondly Schuster, I guess, is not a great coach in European games. though he's not to blame, he hasn't coached in Europe much! he's like Madrid players at the moment: gaining experience, learning from mistakes...
