We'd probably get hammered at this rate. Play like we did today and we'll even struggle to beat Zurich

Oh come on ... get off it will ya (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

We'll beat them (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) it's always like this. just when Carlo is almost fired, the team puts on a great show and everything dies down. remember Lazio, Sampdoria, Napoli, etc. games last season (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Milan 3-0 Zurich. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

At this stage i'm never convinced milan can win any match at all..

Keep it together man! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/goodheart.gif) We're the best damn club in the world, it was a very bad day at the office. Now that I think of it, I've seen worse ones. The defeat to Napoli towards the end of last season was worse than this one, as it sealed the deal, and landed us in fifth place.

I'm sure we'll pick up, and come out good in the next matches. Can't completely blame it on Carlo either. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) He just makes the tactics and formations while choosing the players. How the team responds and plays isn't up to him. Don't lose sleep over it. I'm sure everything will end up alright.

Will be interesting to see which lineup we put out in this one.

IF I don't see the strongest Milan lineup possible, then either 1) Carlo is stupid or 2) he just really isn't interested anymore. One excuse I've heard is that the players haven't got an understanding due to not playing together much - which is ridiculous since alot of teams sign players in the sumers - so NOT playing our best XI would mean that we're missing out on the chance for them to get an understanding, if Carlo can't see this.. Then on the other side we have the fact that he doesn't care about our players getting an understanding as he's just lost interest in the club, can't think of another reason for it myself.

Milan always does better in european competitions than in italian league, so i hope for a win in san siro!!!
don't know how good zuricj is, but we are Milan (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
looking forward to thursday (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
FORZA MILAN

I'm telling you all, a convincing win against Zurich and UEFA Cup will become our first objective (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) we'll even use it as an excuse for Serie A loses just the same way we did it with CL games... it is after all the only trophy Milan is yet to win. we will have to win it..!

High hopes I had for this Milan (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

Really? (IMG:http://www.pic4ever.com/images/mpr.gif) we finished 5th in the league and got eliminated in the first knockout round of the Champions League. personally I would keep that tag for when we 'really' are the best club in the world. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

How many times have we said something like this over the past 12 months...? aren't these comments familiar? "we'll do better", "we'll bounce back", "there's still time", "next match a different Milan", etc. it's getting as boring as the day-to-day, honestly.

I think a loss to Inter and we'll definitely be out of the race for the Scudetto.

Can't believe we're the same people we were three weeks ago! things change so fast! 1 month ago we were talking about winning the league and now we are content with a draw with Zurich in UEFA Cup (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) thank you Carlo, players, the management, etc. for breaking our hearts!!

we'll win, 2-0 or 3-0. we've seen this happen many times in the past couple of years. what bothers me is it takes 4 or 5 loses to start to worry (IMG:http://img375.imageshack.us/img375/417/fester4wa.jpg) so the on going trend suggests we lose our next serie a game and carlo still is giving another chance.

We'll play our best team in my opinion, batter them, then lose at the weekend. The excuse will then be obvious - tired from our game on Thursday.

Milan Crisis Intensifies As Pirlo Suffers Injury Blow

Milan have been dealt another major blow in midfield after Andrea Pirlo went down with a muscular injury during Tuesday morning’s training session.

The Rossoneri are already without Gennaro Gattuso and it is highly likely that Pirlo will be ruled out from Milan’s UEFA Cup clash with Zurich on Thursday night.

The extent of the player’s injury is not yet known but the club have released a statement confirming he will under go further examinations on Friday morning.

"Milan announces that Andrea Pirlo sustained an injury to his right leg this morning and he will be examined further on Friday," read a statement on the club’s official website.

Although it is not known how long Pirlo will be out, reports in Italy suggest it will be several weeks. Carlo Ancelotti did not need this latest set-back given all the recent problems at the club.

Emerson or Cardacio are likely to come in for the injured star. Milan will be hoping to progress against Zurich. Any slip up could signal the end of Ancelotti’s days in charge.

The club cannot afford to lose or they will be eliminated from the competition.

It means that whoever wrote the article is trying to make it sound worse than it is. The tie with Zurich is over two legs (home and away).

re: Pirlo's injury, initial guesses are about a month out. It's a little odd that they're waiting 3 days for further tests though.
