I just added Zico..Wasn't Zico Fernabache's coach last season?

I already voted. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Spaletti. If I could change it, it'd be Zico without a doubt - a decent tactical mind, offensive and an overall class guy. Could very well fit in with us. Too bad Van Basten isn't available.

i would love Cesare Prandelli (he should be listed) or even Spalletti, but it dont see that happening. of the possible candidates i'd go for Rijkaard just because he has had some club success, while donadoni hasnt dont anything yet (although i would be terribly disappointed with him). all i want is for carlo to leave, NOW!

Who says it will be a disaster if we change the coach right now? Look what happened with Palermo. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Yeah, but you can see the other side. Look what happened when Chelsea got rid of Jose.. oh, wait, that's right, they came 2nd in the league while making 2 cup finals!

The thing is, there's no guarantee it will make us any better. But it sure as hell can't make it any worse, we need to show a little ambition. And personally, I think whoever we bring in needs to have a bit more control and the players we get. There's no point in Galliani signings players that the manager doesn't want.

No one can tell if changing the coach right now will result or fail. it's a huge risk but thing is right now we're losing, and in embarrassing fashion that is, let's at least lose with someone else!! that's my motto right now!

We're repeating last season's performances. 11 new players have come and 5 have left and we're still exactly the same team. Carlo claims he can 'fix' things but I doubt. a few more defeats and he'll definitely be sacked (MO) and if he's going to be sacked anytime soon, we'll have to do with one of the available option like Donadoni or Rijkaard.

Yeah, he's been saying that for nearly 12 months now, when we went on that poor run at home at the start of last season. The last time we were really any good in the league was early/mid 2006, that's 2 and a half years.. it's just too long.

I agree about that. I've been hearing these promises for a long time too! but let's see how he does with his [probably] last chance...

Whoopie...been a long time since I posted. I'd prefer the new guy to come in some time with a break happening, so that he can tune in with the team.

Looking back, if they intended to make a revolution in the first team, then the coach should have been the first to go.

Anyway, if Carletto is to be fired, my pick is Donadoni. I'd rather have someone who's played in Serie A before, and is used to the tactical approach.

Rijkaard is Dutch...therefore like Porty said a liability to be tactically f@cked (but Porty used the r-word..naughty naught Porty)

Rijkaard might bring out the whole Ronaldinho conundrum again. We'd be cutting our noses to spite our face.

Donadoni is Italian...ergo he might be just as stubborn too, but we'll see.

For now, if Carletto says he'll fix it, I'll wait and watch him fix it. Hope to see an improvement in the next few games.

Nice post jack...however, look at mourinho...He hadn't played in italy before and He's made inter stronger..with 10 men, inter didn't look like they were playing with one man down...Donadoni didn't succeed italy's coach...He's a good manager but i don't think i want him in milan...We need a team that can attack and defend at the same time and Rijkaard or Zico can do that...Donadoni is more of a defensive minded coach...Carlo should be fired..c'mon we lost 5-6 games in a row now...from the friendlies...How bad can a coach like that be...always giving excuses claiming we'll be better next time and we've seen the result..(even worse)..Carlo needs to go..

Milan wont sack a two time winning CL coach, irrespective of what ppl on a forum believe. It sure is a difficult time, but all in all, he hasn't had enough time with the new players due to international games all summer and the qualifiers. This week will be a challenge for him, to get the team to collaborate more and bring out the best it can offer.

I'm sticking with Ancelotti....I'm a pretty stubborn lad and once someone has been good to me (Ancelotti & Ronaldo) I tend to take a looooot of $#!t from them (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

We need someone:

-Motivated
-Experienced
-Strict

Therefore: Rijkaard, Donadoni and Mancini would be bad choices. Zico and Grant, I don't think so. I chose Spaletti from that list but I've some doubts about him.

Cesare Prandelli and Mourinho would be the ideal choices. Too bad that ain't gonna happen and we'll stick some months to a muppett like Rijkaard who won't last long.

sounds like me lol.

In all seriousness though, porty your 100% right once again. We should have sold him to chelsea when they were bidding for him or something lol.

I like Leonardo, he is usually part of the BBC team during the World Cups and he has good knowledge of the game and seems to be an intelligent guy. I wouldn't mind himm but I think I'd prefer him to be an assistant to a more experienced coach for now.
