Bad news. I thought we were bad but not bad enough to qualify for the Champions League. We have reached the point where we are flat out horrible. Now its the UEFA cup. We are tied for 6th place in league. Now theres Sampdoria who we are tied with.

QUOTE (fahad @ Mar 30 2008, 10:06 AM) Van Basten?? A good coach with solid mentoring skills. Van Basten is not a good coach though... Not yet at least. He has a lot to prove. |

carlo needs to go i think all the fans agree with this. Its looking more and more like a revolution is perhaps needed. Its not that we don't have the class players its just that we have no motivation. If they don't want to try and win everything every season then they shouldn't play. Playing in cL alone is not good enough.

(IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Even the unflappable MvB has taken pity on Milan?? Does anyone know (I guess only 10ie will be privy to this info) what MvB's feelings really are about Milan?? Does he truly love the club, or is it to him just a club that acted as a vehicle for success? I mean like, in the end does his heart belong to Ajax?? Sort of like..uhm Keegan and Liverpool? I'm not gonna get into the Carlo debate fellas...sorry...not tonight. I'm a little outnumbered here. Maybe if R7 were here, and Nova would stop surfing porn, I'd have a chance. I didn't see the game so I can't comment on the performance, but a terrible result. UEFA Cup next season is pretty much all but confirmed now.
Why was Nesta sent off? |

Nesta was sent off for dissent, I think. There was a lot of arguing right toward the end of the game.
As for MVB and Milan, I think there's still a lot of affection and respect. MVB is still aabsolutely revered at Milan - how many other guys who played for the team 15 years ago would get feature articles written about their visits to milanello? I think he himself genuinely loves Milan. Thing is, Ajax is his first club and I think that if it really came down to it, his first loyalty would be there. |
