On the Gourcuff issue, I personally think it's because while he's got talent, he just isn't Milan quality.
*

Milan quality? Who's played ahead of him? It's Brocchi and Emerson for ****s sake? Is that the Milan quality? Please... he's better than them. Everyone is. If I'm mistaken and those two are Milan quality then this should actually be considered a successful season!

No. Carlo has personal issues with Gourcuff.

If we had another coach then yes, I would also be hopeful but Yoann can do nothing right in Carlo's eyes.

He makes the cross for the winning goal against Palermo, what does Carlo do in return? Play 3 defensive mids in the next game instead of giving him another chance to build up his confidence. He is a young player and he needs to feel that the club is behind him, having the coach do that to you would be a big blow for someone who is his age and is still trying to get into the team and gain confidence.

On the Gourcuff issue, I personally think it's because while he's got talent, he just isn't Milan quality. I know it's a minority opinion on the board, but while Gourcuff's first touch is good, his second...isn't. I also don't like the fact that he, in essence, cheats. Lots of obvious dives, putting the ball outside the little corner marker thingy for a corner to get an extra couple of inches, etc. I won't be upset next season if he's (as is likely) gone.
*

If he is not worthy of the Milan bench then neither are guys like Favalli and Brocchi, but not only are they much worse players then him but they still get the start before him. And who doesn't cheat in football these days? In fact it's a rarity to find a player who doesn't do it.

Imo it's all because Carlo doesn't like him, and nothing else. He's a classy enough player to be on our bench. We have far worse players on the bench then him

I'm going to agree to disagree with dst on the Gourcuff issue. But I know mine is the minority opinion here.

And yep, I do think Nesta got a straight red. It was for dissent too.

he'll probably miss it (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

only if they realize that it wasn't a fair red-card, they would let him play.

QUOTE (pKillerMax @ Mar 30 2008, 03:34 PM)
Our performances have been so convincing, we are making Pato play better and better with more determination every game... This is the team to learn from.

Frist lesson is from:

Seedorf: You stop a high ball gently with the cushion of your @ss and then you proceed with caution and slow movement until you are surrounded by 6 players. This is where you slowly look around and pass it back to Oddo. You ALWAYS pass it back to Oddo, the slowly looking around thing is just an uber trick Seedorf came up with  to add a little drama to his play. Oddo will take it from here.

Oddo: OK, now you go deep and wait for his cross... Don't worry, it only takes him 18739717419874 times to get it right... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/freak.gif)

Now when it comes to motivation, Pato needs to look no further than Pirlo. OK, granted a cabbage has more motivation than Pirlo, but you will find it if you look hard enough.

For courage, you got a roll model in Dida, cheering you on and getting injured all at the same from the bench. His fighting spirit and masculine energy is just too much for the pitch.

For fitness, you've got your ideal man in Ronaldo. Name an injury and he has suffered through it. I even heard he got a strain in or around his @sshole for farting once... You be the judge... Now you ask me, why is he the ideal fitness model? Well, he is not... He can tell you 999 ways NOT to get injured though...

Then for technique you got your main man Brocchi... From fabulous elastico's to his trademark little midget stepovers, Brocchi is your to go guy.

More helpful lessons for our new boy Pato in the coming weeks. Stay tuned and enjoy your slow deaths everyone. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I think I speak for all of us here when I say that everyone is behing this team no matter where we are, whether it's serie A or Serie Z, Intertoto or CL everyone here is behind the team.

But again, speaking for everyone here, we are all frustrated, with how the team is being run and coached. That's why this is a forum, we all come here to speak our oppinions and sometimes even vent our frustrations, which we all have a reason to right now.

But as I said, that doesn't mean that we are not still all 100% behind our team
