ambro is good yes...but we shouldnt play with two defensive midfielders...and definitly not with one of them playing attackin midfielder...he's a great sub for gattuso, but he's so rarely injured, he would play less then simic (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I don't think any other true DMF (Mascherano, Makelele, Diarra) are any better in going forward.

Yep. None of the above would do any better going forward playing as an LM. Especially Makelele and Diarra would do worse.

This is unfair in my view... of course Gila did not do anything memorable in this game but what was he supposed to do when there's 10 opposition players around the box? Where to move, where to show any spark? There's really only a handful of players that can do well even in such harsh conditions and no, Gila is not one of them! But a 3?

MILAN - A.C. Milan communicate that after the first checks made at the Galeazzi hospital in Milan to the player Ronaldo, a rupture to his kneecap ligament was found in his left knee.

that means at least 3months or more...i'd say 6... I think we won't see him in Milan shirt again. Maybe in MLS next season... It's very sad. Maybe the most talented striker of his generation and such bad luck with injuries over the career (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

One of them should be Drogba, hopefully.

Please bring us a healthy [=not injury prone] striker, Galliani...

QUOTE (pKillerMax @ Feb 13 2008, 10:19 PM)
Yes it is.

Anyway, to sum it up, Ambro should be on the bench.
*

I never liked him and never will. He should not be on the bench, he should be miles away from Milano!!!

When I watched Gilla play today it was like a DejaVu... I've seen him play that bad somewhere, sometime... SomeSHIT!
Yoann tried and tried, but nothing.
Pirlo is the only one who was doing something forward.
Gattuso can't do anything attacking even if he wants it really bad.
Paloschi was better than the DejaVu guy. He really looks like Pippo, no doubt Pippo is his idol.
Very bad for Ronaldo, I fear i have to say bye bye to him and he should say that to tha game.. Pippo is not the same. He had a chance, but fu**ing Amelia! Only CL for Pippo! We need Strikers, we need attacking midfielders, we need defenders!
We need a whole new f**KING team, built on the basis of KaKa, Pato and Pirlo. Seedorf too, but he is getting old. That does not stops him, but it would be better if he could run...

Conclusions and some comments,...

Some things I've read here really did upset me, or at least provoked me to make a response.

QUOTE
My list would be: Kaka', Pirlo, Nesta, Oddo, Jankulovski, Gattuso, Seedorf and Pato.

The others are just too old, too injury-prone or "too average" to be a Milan player.

One name - Maldini. And noone mentioned he was missing. Even the too old, soon to retire Maldini. I'm a bit surprised...

QUOTE
Ambrosini is ineffectual in general. At least when things are not going well... he's like that magnifier thing Ari posted... when all goes well, he's very useful, when things go wrong he makes it worse.

This season - yes. But not allways. Remember the PSV encounter. One of my most emotional Milan matches, and Ambro was in the middle of all that.

QUOTE

How do you mean a whole new team?? Nesta, Seedorf, Kaka, Pirlo, Pato - that is a whole team, that's 'nuff! It's not that we need a complete reconstruction, our basis is still unshaken. We just need the usuall reinforcement players and maybe 1 or 2 real big names. But we need depth. Why change Bonera with Mexes, or Simic with >insert name< RB?

More then less this is an ordinary game, which earned us 1 point and nothing more. The only big news is that Ronaldo is maybe gone forever (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) . But anything else is normal - Milan played just a very hard and exhausting mid-week fixture. Sh@t happens, and we lost 2 points. Did Inter deserve to win against doese Livornese players? Sure not, but they did. That's the only difference...and this difference can be catch up by Milan in just about a few months (transfer period).

Other then that - just cool down.
a) Nest, Seedorf, Pato, Janku and Kaka did not play
(IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) we won 1 point
c) we rested players for much more important matches
d) we'll be 4th or 3rd (which means CL-qualifications, and the last time we had to manage does fixtures, we also appeared in the final fixture)
e) Noone played really bad. Gourcuff and Gilardino have a similar problem. Their effort is too usuall and "cloaked", but that's nothing new..time can heal that - till the end of this season.
