Yes it is an IF but IF they do have that kind of season again (because lets face it, Serie is still weak this season and getting back on it feet) then these points that we are losing now against teams like Siena (like last season) will make it hard for us to do anything in the latter stages of the season when the leader of the league starts to lose steam and we (like always) start to pick up the steam after christmas.

Last season for example Inter wheren't playing well in the last few months and we started playing well but by then it was too late seeing as they had already passed us by 30 pts.

In games like this which should be 3 sure points resting a couple of big players shouldn't make a difference since the people that subbed them are still better then their opposite numbers. But if they continue to show the lack of motivation that they showed today then we can't rotate the team, and on top of that for you goalkeeper and defender to make blunders like they did is unacceptable.

We should have never renewed Dida's contract in the first place and I think it's time for Bonera to come ehead of Kaladze in the packing order, meaning when Paolo is not fit Bonera gets the go-ahead before Kala

I'm going to give a more calm response to this than I usually do.

There's an old theory that winning your home games and drawing your away games is enough to win you the league. Well, we've played 1 home game and 2 away games. That means to reach the target, we should be on 5 points, and we are.

But, there's no kidding that it's a poor result, even away from home.

Holy sh!t....lobotomies ARE big business in Ingerlund then!!! kurt is that really you?? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

All in all, it was a disappointing performance from the majority of the players on the field. But it isn't the end of the world (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) We missed 2 points, but ain't bad, it's not like we are gonna loose a CL place.

Carlo did right rotating the squad. We weren't playing against Fiorentina or Roma. It was only the weak Siena and the players who got the opportunity should blame themselves. You are getting a chance in the first team and you need to give 120%. Instead, they were playing like sh!t and without any inspiration at all. So next time Carlo wouldn't play them against teams of Siena's level they'd now why. Again We had strong enough team to beat Siena and the key players rest was necessary.

The only ones who played decent were Gourcuff (at least he really tried) and Nesta(and not because of the goal). Gila again after missing two chances at the start was useless. But the whole team were awful today. But ,as much as it frustrating to rescue a draw against Siena, let's not draw any conclusions about the title race just yet.

Excellent post Misha ...

Since most of the players today didn't get their chance to play aSerie A game yet, I'd say this game would boost their fitness levels. Hopefully we don't drop points anymore (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

Pato will certainly change the way we play. It's crucial to play with a forward and a striker together. Otherwise it will be the same story.

I think what irritates people here the most is the fact that the players didn't even start trying until the clock hit 80 minutes, atleast that's what makes me p!ssed off at the fact that we got this result. Our subs that were playing today should have been able to handle this Siena team, no questions asked.

The other week against Fiornetina was a very predictable result especially after the Super Cup and the fact that Fiorentina are a very good young team, but this week there should be no excuses.

Losing points against teams like Siena is what will eventually keep us from winning the league, not losing points against Fiorentina, Roma and Inter

Agree with you there 100%. And I think Carletto is angry as well. The players will either have to improve or they won't play. But I don't think the likes of Cafu or Gila have anything to offer.

Definately, today Pippo made no difference since him and Gila like always started to drift into the same positions and get in eachother's way (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I think Carlo's mistake was not calling up Kaka, when you only have 2 strikers like Pippo and Gila on the bench then you shouldn't take away the option of being able to put on someone like Kaka from the bench. It gave us no other alternative then to play those 2 together and they have proven on COUNTLESS occasions that they make the situation worse when they play together

Imo Gila did nothing wrong today, and I'm not saying this because I'm on the Gila bandwagon, becouse I decided to get off that sinking ship at the beginning of the season when he started messing up against Genoa.

But today he did nothing wrong, he never even got any service from our lazy midfield, so he can't really be blamed today. Against Fiorentina, yes, it was his fault seeing as he wasted 2 clear cut chances and he wasn't even controlling the ball well, but today it was not his fault

My grudge is with the management. I personally like all our players, except for the useless Gila, and if I say thing like Cafu was $hit, it's only because he was. Enough is enough already, we are tired of being humiliated by the likes of Siena. And the fact that we are the CL winners, makes this all the harder to digest.

AGREE completely!!!!!!

I am as irritated as anyone else on here but I will never swear at the team, maybe Kala and Dida deserve some brunt especially Dida since that's his second mistake in twice as many games, but I still won't swear at him, I will just voice my oppinion on what his status should be at the team and imo he should be sold, but nothing more then that

Well, I believe last season everyone was saying the same thing you are saying, no service. But then Ronaldo came and all the sudden, there is service! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) I think you are only making excuses for him. He lost great chances, he messed up everything that came his way, his half-assed "1-2s" were painful to watch. He stumbled on the ball and fell AGAIN today with no one around him and I could only laugh. He really makes the midfield not wanna pass to him. Have you not seen Kaka and how frustrated he gets with him?

Not his fault (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) ...

If a 34 year old Inzaghi tried on several occasion in the second half to score, the 25 year old Gilardino did nothing throughout the 90 mins! Yeah it wasn't his fault that he is not worthy of playing for Milan.
