Without doubt that was a great finish, he took no chances and aimed for his shot to be as far from Abbiati as possible. I've seen him and other great finishers do this all the time.

I say this without any embarassment. On form, Milito is one of the best finishers in Europe. If he had consistency, people would speak of him as they used to about Nistelroy.

Agreed. And he has more to his game than RvN does.

Unfortunately he's probably missed his chance to be a true great given he's already 32.

He's also never really done it for his country - only 4 in 24.

70th Roma 5-1 Cessena. Cessena was much better last year under Fiaccadenti'. Roma went 3-0 after 8 minutes

Yeah well, it's that tricky second season newly promoted teams usually stumble on.

Btw. it's Cesena.

That's Juve as winter champs. We totally blew our chances last weekend...

So, Juve isn't that weak, right?

All in all, it wasn't just last weak. We lost directly against Juventus and spilled a few extra points in the starting weeks. Winning this scudetto become much harder then it should have been considering Inter's horror start.

Personally I'd like to see the title race between us and Juve go down to the wire with us eventually beating them to it. what would be sweeter than that? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

We'll see (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Being winter champs does have it's good side, but that doesn't mean they're automatic champions. There are still a lot of games to be played, and I feel that should we win our head to head and they get into second place they'll start to wane. I still don't feel that as a squad they have anything special, certanly not special enough to be champions. But their determination and sheere will is pushing them forward, even if they haven't been as good as they were in the first part of the season since we resumed from the winter break.

That being said, you can't deny that they haven't been lucky with the injuries, we have 10 players out injured, while they've had a full squad for selection in practically every game of the season.

We'll see what happens, but if we somehow lose this Scudetto than Allegri will have a lot to answer to. We lost so many cheap points this season, and haven't managed to win a single game against the other title contenders. If this is not alarming than I don't know what is
