Indeed! Finally we showed some balls. We weren't spectacular, but we were compact and determined. Sometimes that's all you need.
This win is gigantic, but it will mean nothing if we don't win the next two games. I don't want our CL to be determined against Atalanta.
Ibra's injury is a huge blow. This is exactly when we needed him. As Han said, games like Torino and Cagliari are his bread and butter.
Too true
Honestly with this team, I can see us winning this game and then f@cking up against either Toro or Cagliari, who have both been much better this 2nd part of the season.
Let's see if this can boost us for the rest of the season, similar to what happened last season after we won against Juve
Btw, have to admit that after Kessie missed, I was like, well that's CL for another year. I completely thought we would let our heads drop and Juve would jump on that opening. And they sort of pressed the gas for 5 minutes but then started misplacing passes again, and I was like, okay we can do this. But that penalty could hav been a 40-50m pen for this club. Kessie has been immense this season, but he should not be our taker
Games like this make me wish we had the full squad against them back when we played them in the first round. Juve have been appalling all season imo
