Another must win. Fiorentina has to play against Catania away and Roma against Bologna. If the positive trend maintains we could grab up the 5th spot.

Seeing Kluivert score makes me think how wrong we used those dutch guys back then. Bogarde, Reiziger, Davids and Kluivert could have all made a brand new classy Milan.

You never know, if we kept Kluivert we might have decided to not spent that much on Sheva, who we bought a year later. Davids, was a big miss, I agree (just like Vieira). Bogarde and Reiziger are not that important.

Yeah, but Henry and Carlos were quite unknown back then. While Bogarde, Reiziger, Kluivert and Davids won the CL with Ajax prior to coming to Milan. That's what makes it a bigger mistake.

Maybe not that important, but they nevertheless were very good fullback - surely better then say Chamot (who himself wasn't that bad), Helveg, Contra or Coco.

They might have been better than what we had at the time but still mediocre. Never rated them that much. We should have kept Panucci.

Mediaset probable line-up: Abbiati; Abate, Mexes, Zapata, Constant; Flamini, Montolivo, Boateng; Niang, Pazzini, El Shaarawy.
I seriously think that line-up would look awesome with Noce and Bojan instead of Flamini and Niang.

I'm convinced Allegri has been told to play Zapata and Bojan as little as possible to lower their pricetag for the summer...that being said, it can no longer (if ever) be argued, that they dont deserve playtime

Agreed, while Nocerino has looked slightly off the mark
But to play Niang instead of Bojan on the right wing is criminal. The rest looks great

Niang is still young, but just like SES needs time to get comfortable with these surroundings. SES took a while, Niang should be granted no less before we judge him. Yet I beg to point out that I can not see anything special about him.

I feel the same way to be frank
But at least play the kid to his strengths, not push him out to the right wing where his faults seem to look 10 times worse.

Indeed, agreed with both of you. I fail to see what's special about him. Not really so fast, clumsy dribbler and average finisher.

Montolivo is very clumsy on the ball today, and El Shaarawy's inability to dribble s worrying. Thank god his finishing is excellent. Scrap this 4-3-3 system, play Bojan behind SES and Pazzini/Niang.

Very, very important 3 points. The last 10 minutes were hell.
May I say that the Atalanta players were pathetic today, always complaining to the ref about every single thing. The red card was legit, and the ref was perfect in all his decisions.
Also, what's with Allegri playing Robinho (who in the few minutes he played today hit a new low) when you have Bojan on the bench? And Traoré, again? No comment.

I don't get playing Niang on the right period!
The kid looks half decent at times. But when he's stuck wide all his movement looks very clumsy. His assist was very good but it came at a certain point where he managed to get himself more central.
Leaving Bojan out for me is just plain stupid. I don't know what Allegri is playing at. And don't even get me started on the substitutions!!
SES seriously needs to be moved away from that left wing, his attempts at dribbling were cringe worthy
