Brazilian defenders are crap at the moment, apart from Thiago and David Luiz. I'd rather go after this Mbwia guy. He could turn the new Thiago Silva.

Nesta is Nesta, period.
Any mistake he ever made can be excused on the pitch because he makes a million interceptions, tackles, blocks, etc to counter that one mistake.
No one can question Nesta's quality.
But these guys are clearly lacking in any of the aforementioned quality. I missed our first 45 against Juve, but what I saw against Inter was a clear indication of what these guys have to offer. Traore will be another Taiwo for us, we'll be struggling to offload him come next summer, mark my words
I just cannot understand why we keep making these pointless free signings. They just weigh down our wage budget and take up spaces that could be filled by better players
I think the Schalke game deserves a new thread.
