Oh sorry then, my mistake, could have sworn I saw the ref showing the yellow

Well, when it comes to Ambrosini, you're seeing your own film.

Anyway, this board has been bashing Seedorf prior this match, but he's been excellent so far. Not much lost passes, great vision and precision. If only his shooting leaves space for improvement.

But we are not pressuring them, only their defenders, which is where those two chances came from. But whenever Messi, Xavi or Iniesta have the ball, we just look at them like a bunch of d!cks without even trying to steal the ball. Pfffff...

If we try to pressure them too much with a lot of players pushing out of their positions then they'll get into the space left behind. I'd rather it this way.

If we manage a 0-0 great, I'll take that. If we manage to nick one late on, than that's amazing. If we lose, f@ck it, we all thought this would happen

Tell me you weren't p!ssed off when he kept fouling at the edge of our area when they're just passing it around!

Yes I was mistaken as I thought he surely gave that yellow the way he went in like he usually does, 2 feet and as if he's flopping down a slip and slide at the local water fun park

Yes Seedorf has been good, but he just looks completely off the pace when he tries to even attempt a fas run. He won't last the full 90 that's for sure

Seedorf has been great, but I doubt he'll stay for long in the second half,he looked tired.

Yeah, our players act like Stonehenges. We're too static, we need to help our defenders and push more forward, this Barcelona defense isn't convincing at all...

I was. I do get you, he made a few mistakes, but so did Mexes, Binho, Ibra and a few others. Nothing lethal from the man so far.
William405
To do that we'll have to play Emmanuelson as a fullback, and get Aquilani in.

Antonini has been good defensively. No reason to upset the balance of our defence.

I think best thing to do would be to bring Urby for Seedorf at the 60th and grind this thing out
han2503
How is that not a foul by Puyol?

Yes. We are trying to prevent their runs to the box and close it as much as possible. They can shoot from distance as much as they want but at the end of the half Abbiati made maybe two saves.

We just need to exploit chances we do have, you can't miss like that vs Barca.

I think all of the players that some maybe were worried about before the game have played well. Ambro, Seedorf, Antonini.
han2503
Can't we steel a freakin' corner off them?? come on punt it up. Do it ugly
han2503
If a Barca player went down like Robs did, it would be a foul. Gauranteed!

Btw, kurt are you watching on sky or itv? Can't find a stream but I really like G. Neville's commentary

no sky telecast onlyitv
kurtsimonw
Seedorf > Messi.
han2503
Why are our players slipping and sliding all over the pitch FFS??

Shouldn't our players be wearing the right boots and the slipping and sliding be done from the Barca players?

Robs off injured. Great rolleyes.gif

CrazyMilanFan

+1 but then it was messi on the ball
han2503
Iniesta off

Tello on

At least that's one headache out of the way. Wonder why not Cesc...
kurtsimonw
That's the problem with a sub, you need a few touches to be fully warmed up.
CrazyMilanFan
robinho part 2 starts the same way as well
han2503
Prince off for Urby, he better not be injured again FFS!
kurtsimonw
Silly yellow from Ambro. If you're going to pick one up, you don't take it for kicking the ball away.

Ambro didn't do anything, Antonini was the one with the pull back
CrazyMilanFan
seedorf please wakeup its not full time yet

OMG mesbah coming on for nesta
kurtsimonw
Mesbah for Nesta. I'm guessing Antonini to RB and Bonera to CB.
han2503
The game is opening up. This is where it will get tricky for us
Jack Bauer
The pitch is horrendous. No wonder all of Pato's injuries were there.
han2503
OMG!!!

NO!!!!
Jack Bauer
looks like another injury... sad.gif mad.gif

We won't have a defence left at this rate.
kurtsimonw
Ambro! What a block!
han2503
Pedro on, I hate that little f@cker he always scores in these types of games for them
Milan Are Brilliant
Mesbah let Puyol run so close to scoring. We may as well be down to 10 men.
han2503
Suddenly living on the edge without Nesta, I'll be shocked if we don't conceed in the next 5 minutes
han2503
Wasting time already
han2503
Come on, punt it at Ibra!!
kurtsimonw
ANTONINI! WHAT A BLOCK!
