Is it just me or are we hitting form all of a sudden?
I still can't quite believe we're in 7th place after the start we've had.
We might not be out of the Scudetto after all.
We've been pretty bad so far this half imo, just no ideas, nothing. But some great work from Ibra and a wonder striker have turned it for us

Ht. I think they need to pick it up in the second half. It's just very blah atm, and it's been that way all 45 minutes. Nocerino's goals have been isolated incedents in a so far average performance
I still cannot believe that the decent and still trust-worthy Ambro of last season has been reduced to this. Completely invisible except for the moments when he's losing the ball or being made a fool of. Boateng has been dropping into that area to do his work
Robinho for Ambro, move Boateng back and we might really see some good stuff in the second half

I don't get how you can criticise him when Aqui has mostly been owrking his @ss off to clean up after Ambro. He's been reduced to sweeping the ball to get us back into possession for most of the game

Ibra, when he has nothing to play for and loses motivation, becomes painful to watch. sure he's still capable of assists and occasional wonder plays, but he's nowhere near the player I saw last season. he looks like he doesn't care that much anymore and I repeat, it's painful to watch him like this.
I'm sure he will be all pumped up for CL games though!

Work is one side, but I expect more creativity and more good passes from a player of his position, and Ambro can't be the one to blame for the lack of Aqui's accuracy.
And yes, Ibra looks without any motivation.

Yep, to think some wanted him out during the summer. What would we have done without him when he was the only fit striker?
His assists are all great, but he needs to be more greedy at times, as well as stop with the too intricite work. Just smash them when the oppostunity comes! He usually tries to make the pass or holds on to the ball a second or two longer and by then the opportunity is gone. Be selfish Cassano, you're a striker, it's allowed!

Ambrosini performs better as an anchor,he wasn't that good, but wasn't the liabality he was against Lecce. He still came back from injury, let's not forget that.I see him as a good Van Bommel replacement against weak and middle class clubs.
Nocerino was our hero for today from midfield

.He was everywhere, his workrate is really impressive, just the player we needed, and could develop into one hell of a player.
Boateng was not influential at all today which shows that we need a classic attacking midfield. We have no one for that position, literaly. Our midfield looks great, and with some good depth, finally!
Thiago was his amazing self, owned everyone.
Taiwo is improving,he has some sweet passes, and can be dangerous sometimes, but still needs confidence. His defense is also better than Antonini, and still much more room for improvement.
Our defense needs stability,we're going out with an almost different back four every match.

Great game.
Top marks for everyone generally except Ambro, Taiwo and Abbiati. Even Allegri and Bonera were good
Despite my criticism of Taiwo (who'd deserve a high 6 / low seven) he's improving and is already miles ahead of Anto. One Mistake in this game doesn't at all put him behind the mistake career of Anto. Also Taiwo's runs and pace gave us so much more width on the left it was really pleasing.
Abate continues to improve incrementally. We would appreiate him more over the next 2~3 seasons.
I can't criticize Cassano despite his relaxing instead of shooting because that's simply his style. If he were a different player he'd have had more goals and less assists.
iBra was not playing his own high standards and a gift of a goal will again hide this fact. He's verrrrry show and looks utterly unmotivated. Yes I'm biased against him but I maintain that a higher calibre team would tear him apart playing like this.
Nocerino was our man of the match. How one guy on R&B says that he's on par with Brocchi is beyond me. But I guess he's excused as a Pirlo fan

. Guy fought for every inch (no homo) of space and his technique isn't horrible for a guy mainly viewed as a blue collar player.
I was soooo angry at Allegri for the snubbing (again) of El Sharaawry) but I'm not the one that just led the team to another great win.
Actually my opinions on Allegri remain and I expect him to excel in these types of games vs. lesser opponents. However Allegri has MASSIVELY improved two main dimensions of our attack
1) Goals off of corners
2) Shots from outside by midfielders
I really will have no basis for complaint if we keep playing like this consistently at all levels -i.e. vs big teams as well.
Great game and FORZA Milan

Firstly, I don't remember having witnessed two back to back hattricks by two of a team's
midfielders before. really strange stuff.
And secondly, I can't quite believe Pato is yet to score a hat-trick...

They were bad, we were bad. Nocerino really pulled out a great match though. We only had very isolated events where we actually did good, positive things on the ball. Most of the first half was the usual passing the ball around the defence and midfield with 0 penetration
