Exactly. We pretty much used to call it the "Inter Cup" just as early as 2004. That's the attitude that has kept us away from winning the double in what, over 100 years. Never took it seriously. Now I want us to win this one this season, and go for the double. Personally my season will not be complete if we have inter celebrating the Coppa Italia.

If any other team won it then okay, maybe, but sharing the glory with our city neighbors is just not on this year.

Nice to see so many members wanting a win today and in the final. There were times when general fans and the team itself took this domestic competition as no real biggie. I guess inter winning the treble last season stirred some of us up. I on my part have always wanted us to go for the home run in the Coppa.

Sadly Carlo did not take this very seriously and focused on CL - now we don't even have that excuse. Forza Milan!

I don't want to sound harsh, especially so soon from the winning the scudetto, but I deem Allegri as the main culprit for this knock-out. Why? Completely erroneous line-up in the first game and very late changes tonight. Seriously, I was screaming at the TV "Get Ibra in you friggin' moron" in the second half. It was plain evident we couldn't have done anything against Palermo with the initial line-up. But I don't wanna blame only Allegri. The players seemed half-arsed and without initiative. I mean, Pato, where the hell were you???

All in all, a very annoying defeat. Now le merde have the opportunity to actually win something and spoil our victory.

Completely agree with you. I'm more then disappointed. Allegri made everything wrong and I'm still not confident with this man, and never will be. He might be a scudetto winner but he isn't good for cup ties. His substitutions are unbelievable slow, his line-up wrong just like in the Tottenham match.
