The champions against the low lifes from Scicily!! Let's do this and get that double that we truely deserve this season!!!

Allegri needs to field a top strength team for this one, let's go all out in our last 1, hopefuly 2, important games of the season
il_diavolo_mtl
if we are to lose this tie, i only hope it is to the Slovenian contingent smile.gif .
arivanjj
the thought of merda winning a trophy this season annoys me. i hope we can turn this game around and then shatter inter once again in the final.

If we win the Coppa .. It would be historic, since it would be the first time Milan ever wins a domestic double
Ry4n
So how many goals do we need to win two or more ?
Zed.D
^^ We have to win.. can't see a 3-3 (or more) draw happening.

I find it really strange that a club as big and successful as Milan has never won the domestic double unsure.gif but it's never too late to make history devil.gif

Wow,that's interesting.Very important match then this is!

Because we never took the Coppa too seriously.
acid911
Exactly. We pretty much used to call it the "Inter Cup" just as early as 2004. sleep.gif That's the attitude that has kept us away from winning the double in what, over 100 years. Never took it seriously. Now I want us to win this one this season, and go for the double. Personally my season will not be complete if we have inter celebrating the Coppa Italia.

If any other team won it then okay, maybe, but sharing the glory with our city neighbors is just not on this year.

My season won't be complete if WE don't win the Coppa. I'll be very supportive tonight, we must win the goddamn game!!!
Jack Bauer
And besides all that, I just want to kick Palermo's (and their moron president's) ass_.
acid911
I'm with ya, bro! king.gif We have the team to do this, and not winning today will be a disappointment. We took it easy in the first leg and are at a disadvantage, but this is the time for the Italian Champions to show up.

Nice to see so many members wanting a win today and in the final. wink.gif thumbup.gif There were times when general fans and the team itself took this domestic competition as no real biggie. I guess inter winning the treble last season stirred some of us up. I on my part have always wanted us to go for the home run in the Coppa.

Sadly Carlo did not take this very seriously and focused on CL - now we don't even have that excuse. Forza Milan!
Fillipo Simone
Can't wait this match to start.
CHU-LIP
Is there a confirmed line-up? (Or else a latest prediction from a reliable source?)
Jack Bauer
Abbiati; Abate Nesta Thiago Silva Antonini; Flamini Van Bommel Pirlo; Seedorf; Robinho Pato

Sirigu; Cassani Goian Bovo Balzaretti; Migliaccio Acquah Nocerino; Ilicic, Pastore; Hernandez

Our midfield. stop.gif

What's wrong with it?

Maybe he thinks it's too creative!

Actually, yeah, if that means we have three slow midfielders, it's too creative I suppose. No, it's too slow, earlier this season we played like snails vs Palermo and lost as I expected, now we wanna do the same? Drop one of those creative players and put pace and movement in, if Prince can't make it, then Furby!
samira
If Milan lose this game and miss the final, Milan will come to my hometown and play against IFK Göteborg. dry.gif
Why couldn't they do it both sad.gif
Oh well what ever happens, it would make me happy anyway laugh.gif

Galliani says it would be nice to vist Sweden again.
- Aftonbladet/Sportbladet.

Edit: AC Milan will decide this week if they will come to Sweden. They have to see first how the game goes ofc tongue.gif
Jack Bauer
Robinho mad.gif mad.gif

Even I can finish better than him.
m1ke
Confident performance from Milan so far.
m1ke
Strange position for Pirlo - but he's actually been quite effective so far.
Zed.D
How's it going? still 0-0?
m1ke
Yep - Palermo gone close a few times, but Milan playing well. Just missing that final ball at the moment.
m1ke
Weird incident. Silva raced out to the left flank to intercept a Palermo player, and ran into the back of Antonini! Looks like Antonini has hurt his knee, and has been stretchered off. Bonera coming on.
Boban10
Feel bit bad for Antonini coz i thought "yes" when he got injured, "Zambrotta time".......nope Bonera at left back wtf?!?

I agree, but Allegri would never do that(I've learn it the hard way xP).

I think antonini slipped before thiago silva's colliding with him then thiago silva collided with him
Ry4n
Bring on Ibra we need a striker up front , anyone we need a striker !!!
CHU-LIP
I want Zlatan (instead of Pato) and Boateng (instead of Pirlo/Seedorf) in. Aye, then we're out of subs already. sad.gif
William405
That will probably be enough, let's do this!
m1ke
Game is really end-to-end at the moment. Palermo playing better this half.
Jack Bauer
1:0 to Palermo.

We were playing awful since the beginning of the second half and it was fucking obvious that a change is needed. Max waited too long and now Zlatan is on to save the day.
Jack Bauer
Red to MVB, penalty and 2-0. Game over.
I_Rossoneri
2-0 now and anyone who wants Pirlo to stay needs to watch a re-run of this game.
Zed.D
Come on, we can't do it at Renzo Barbera... we just can't.
I_Rossoneri
Yet again the ball hits both posts and bounces out! It's not our night.
Zed.D
You mean that happened twice?? blink.gif it must be the ground, it's cursed. I can't find any other explanation for us losing to them over and over again out there.
William405
Dam Dam!

why do palermo choose to be good against us...
dst
an Ibra goal but it's too late... FT 2-1 Palermo... we're out... sad.gif

We done the same thing a few weeks ago IIRC but I can't remember who it was against.
TriniKing_CE
We just didn't seem to impose ourselves on the game as we should have.

Only in the dying minutes did we turn it on a bit. sleep.gif

Oh well...
William405
Ibra should have started this match :< ,he's our best striker.

I don't want to sound harsh, especially so soon from the winning the scudetto, but I deem Allegri as the main culprit for this knock-out. Why? Completely erroneous line-up in the first game and very late changes tonight. Seriously, I was screaming at the TV "Get Ibra in you friggin' moron" in the second half. It was plain evident we couldn't have done anything against Palermo with the initial line-up. But I don't wanna blame only Allegri. The players seemed half-arsed and without initiative. I mean, Pato, where the hell were you??? sad.gif

All in all, a very annoying defeat. Now le merde have the opportunity to actually win something and spoil our victory. dry.gif
m1ke
Pfft, let them win the cup. I'll happily have Milan taking the Scudetto every year with Inter taking the Coppa - it'll be like old times! biggrin.gif

Completely agree with you. I'm more then disappointed. Allegri made everything wrong and I'm still not confident with this man, and never will be. He might be a scudetto winner but he isn't good for cup ties. His substitutions are unbelievable slow, his line-up wrong just like in the Tottenham match.
