Anyway, I'd like to see this line-up
Abate--Nesta--Thiago--Zambro
Flamini--Ambro--Boateng
Seedorf
Ibra-Robinho
If Pirlo is fit he should start ahead of Boateng.

I don't like Antonini at all this season. Zambrotta even on the left I prefer over Antonini, I think. Abate is the certain (at least SHOULD be) starter IMO.

This is my main worry. We can't rest Ibra because he's important for qualification. But we're risking him. Frankly, I don't care how we win this game. Be it like against Fiorentina and Inter where Ibra does his magic. It's because this game is too important for us to change anything at this moment unless we have Pato and Inzaghi.

Sorry but that can't happen at this point, hopefully we close this one out quickly and Allegri brings on Dinho to replace him. Although I can't see Allegri taking Ibra off, he usually makes him play the whole 90 and takes off Robinho

you guys are too harsh on gattuso. Last year he was garbage but this year he's got his confidence back and he is doing well.
I think you guys have far too high of a standard set for gattuso.
Milan as a whole are performing well. We aren't entertaining but we are getting results and I guess thats what matters at the end of the day.
Though I gotta say Allegri for me has still a long way to go.

MILANELLO - Milan’s preparation for the match against Auxerre in Round 5 of the Champions League group stage came to end this morning as the team had its final training session, starting at 11.00 CET, before travelling to France.
The first part of the session was dedicated to the warm-up, which included some light running, sprints and stretching, as well as a series of exercises with the ball.
Coach Allegri then handed out the bibs to his players and had them work on tactics with the game against Jean Fernandez’s side in mind.
The practice ended with a match amongst the squad.
Antonini and Pirlo trained separately.
Oddo did running along the perimeter of one of the fields at Milanello.
At the end of the session, coach Allegri named his squad for the match against Auxerre, calling up the following players:
Abbiati, Amelia, Roma, Bonera, Jankulovski, Nesta, Papastathopoulos, Thiago Silva, Zambrotta, Yepes, Abate, Ambrosini, Boateng, Flamini, Gattuso, Seedorf, Strasser, Merkel (n. 52); Ibrahimovic, Robinho, Ronaldinho.
Unavailable: Antonini, Oddo, Pirlo, Inzaghi, Pato.
The team’s flight to Auxerre is scheduled to take off at 16.30 CET at the Malpensa International Airport. Arrival in the French town is expected at around 17.40 CET.
Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri is holding his pre-game press conference at 18.30 CET at the Abbé-Deschamps Stadium, the venue of the match tomorrow
http://www.acmilan.com/en/news/show/130848Nice to see Merkel being included, but again!!! no other striker? Are all the primavera strikers injured? I would have thought at least take one along, not to expect miracles from but incase of injury to be able to keep same formation/strategy, or just to give someone a rest 3/4 way through. And then, even, who knows what can happen when you throw an unknown (to the opposition team) into the fray. Just seems overly risky to only have three forwards!
Fingers crossed.

You're right, we should have called at least one of our primavera strikers. Look at Inter and Juventus, they've called (and played, too) people like Obi and Sorensen when they were short in defense and midfield. Wouldn't hurt for us to do the same. But if Robinho or Ibrahimovic were to get injured, Allegri will play Ronaldinho, so we still have someone who can replace them, even though he's not a proper striker.

Awesome. That's what I thought. I'd love to see him come in for Seedorf at around 75 mins when zee inevitably slows down. Ideally, by this time we will already be up a goal or two. I suppose I should first hope that Merkel even makes the bench.

I would prefer ronaldinho over robinho and boateng over gattuso any day and I think that is our best formation, robino is preforming very bad loosing a lot of balls he was flop of the match against brasil and against fiorentina eand he still plays because he runs but we need a smart player like ronaldinho to create chances not just ruin oposites game and wait until ibra scores with ronie on the team we will have at leas 5 chances i guarantee that and without gatusa we are complet team couse with gatuso is like playing always 10 vs 11 when ever we have the ball its a big hendicap I dont know how cant u see that he is making fool of u gussys just couse he is runing and makes some stupoid tuckles and makes some gestures for the fansto go wild and everyone thinks he is trying hard but instead he iis the weakest point on our team. but what the f... my words are not counted so I just wanted to expres my opinion

In terms of handling his players yes, but when it comes to making decisions during a match, I wouldn't say he has any courage in that respect. Also Dinho and Seedorf aren't going to make the big fuss that say Ibra or Robinho would make if they're benched for that ammount of games. Seedorf can be an egotistical @ss when he wants to be but he tries to take the high road on most occasion. Dinho also is not someone that talks smack to the press.
