No, sell Pato.

Sell the entire team if we're just making these decisions based on injuries rolleyes.gif

VB, Abate, Boateng, Thiago, etc

All these guys have always been relatively injury free, yet this season they've been in and out, maybe not Thiago, but you can add Seedorf as well to that list.

No, our problems are not the players, but the people treating them. As I said in another thread, our worst enemies this season have not been Juve, but our medical team. Had we had a fully fit squad, we would have won this thing easily by now
X-Offender
Agreed. I remember saying some time ago that I'd gladly accept no signing campaign if I had the assurance of an injury free team for the majority of the season. You know, kind of like Juventus this season.

We cannot compare ourselves to Juventus though, just looking at the fixture load we had to deal with when compared to Juve should be an enough excuse for some of the injuries.

But we've went beyond blaming it on the fixture list this season, it's gotten to a point where it's just a complete joke what's happening with our players. They're dropping like flies. Each week we talk about getting players back and each week we end up losng more players then we're recovered

Love this player! Hope to the Gods he has a completely injury-free season and I'll leave the rest up to him. Who can do something like this against barca? http://youtu.be/YdYzhx7m8x0

I really hope he stays injury-free next season. The past two years have been a nightmare in that aspect.

QUOTE
Kevin Prince Boateng has confirmed that he has no regrets over choosing to represent Ghana over Germany at international level.

The Milan attacker will watch his brother Jerome Boateng take to the field for Die Mannschaft against Italy this Thursday for the second Euro 2012 semi-final.

Both Boateng footballers had the option of which country to play for, having been born a Ghanaian father and a German mother, but where Jerome picked the country he was born in, Kevin Prince picked the country his father had emigrated from in the early 1980s.

It is a decision that the Rossonero man does not regret, even as he turned down the chance to meet German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

“The Chancellor had invited me to have a cup of tea with her, but I had gone on vacation and could not accept,” remembered the No 27 to magazine Chi.

“I preferred to accept the offer to play for Ghana, rejecting the German shirt. Jerome, however, remained loyal to Germany.

“Even if I were able to go back, I would take that same choice. Maybe the Chancellor wanted to ask just that, to return to play for the German team. But no, it’s too late, there’s no turning back.”

Jerome and Kevin Prince were both born in Berlin but grew up in separately, with Kevin Prince enduring the harder surroundings.

“Every day I was forced to contend with gypsies, Romanians, Arabs, Croats, Russians, Albanians and people of a callous way.

“I had two options - either become a delinquent, or try to play football. I chose the latter option and it has gone well for me.”

Odd he says this. It explains a lot. I remember wondering why the other Boateng was so chilled out and docile. And why there are so much similarities with him and Ibra. They had remarkably similar upbringing.
dst
how come they grew separately? huh.gif

Not sure. Maybe they grew up with only one of their parents.

And isn't interesting which one is turning out to be a better player between the brothers? wink.gif

As for Ibra and Boateng, I wish Ibra could learn a thing or two from him. Boateng uses his violent past for his own advancement, but he doesn't use ALL THE F@CKING time. Whenever Ibra is playing, it's all about him. And that's why he is such a big game choker. You need a bit of f@cking love for your teammates to inspire them. Ibra is always a thug.
Fillipo Simone
Has been awful for most of the preparation matches this summer. Don't know what to say, hopefully he'll find his form back. But he is overrated, like X-O said before. He simply isn't consistently good, and that's the biggest issue + of course the fact that he's forced to be our main creative mind, which he clearly can't do as an AM.

Apparently once he went into depression and ended up using shopping as a coping mechanism. He has tons of those caps.

Here from his wiki:

QUOTE
Earlier on in his career, Boateng developed a serious shopping addiction as a result of personal problems. Boateng claims that he still owns "around 100 59Fifty caps and 100 Billionaire Boys Club caps, around 20 Martin Margiela leather jackets, and 160 pairs of Berluti shoes" following the ordeal. Other things the footballer is known to have bought include a Lamborghini Aventador and a Lamborghini Murciélago, a Hummer H3, and a Cadillac CTS-V. Boateng has since overcome this problem and sold all four of his cars, citing how he, "was broken in another world" due to the effects of it.

Because of his whole poser's image. He reminds of the king of all douches, The Situation. Other than that he seems like a good guy who's been through some tough times growing up in Germany (somebody posted an article about that a while ago), it's just that I find this style quite irritating.

To me it's a defense mechanism. Or a coping mechanism. Like Balotelli. These guys' style doesn't impress me. It's even stupid looking a lot of times, but that's one of the things that got them through what they went through. You are a white Greek, you and your ancestors have owned the World and it's people many life times before. But what if you were Black and just coming out of a deeply racist era..? I mean it hasn't been even 100 years... It must hurt to be hated for how you look, your race for instance. People's hatred is never easy to cope with. Especially such deeply rooted hatred that we still see unfortunately. Have you ever been around white racists? I have. The stench and thickness of the air around them made me want to vomit. Now if I was the subject of their hatred, I don't know how I would have coped, but I know it would make me a different person.

Maybe this is a lot of psycho babble or maybe it's all to pretentious for someone like me to type these things on an internet forum, but it's how I feel, and it's NOT how I always felt.
