If what he said is true about spending more money on the youth setup then I'm all for it. I mean I would really love to see some of the young players be promoted to first team. It's because we do have some talented players in the primavera like albertazzi, verdi, beretta, strasser, de vito, merkel etc.

Question: comes this close to anyone's ideal Milan for 2010/11?

I have to say we are good in central defenders. We got a lot of depth in defense, but our depth in fullbacks is not from high quality. Defense including goalkeepers worries me the least. We got enough strikers, but if Pato is out then we might be in trouble again. Though my biggest worry is the lack of some attacking midfielder with pace (who can go wide on the right side). I feel like we have a problem if any of our starting forwards is out. Anyway, I hope to see some chances for youth like Verdi and Strasser. I have more faith in Strasser than Gattuso actually.

On paper that's not all that bac to be honest.

Imo a box to box striker instead of either one of the DMs and it's a pretty kick @ss formation

I think he can. Allegri seems to have confidence in him. Flamini's worst trait, which is wrecklessness, is very very coachable.

We finally have a decent bench.

Last season if Pato and Nesta were out we had to play with Huntelaar as RW and Favalli (or if not also injured Bonera) as CB. That made us go from good to bad way too easy. Now when the two are out we can play Robinho and Papastathopoulos. What a difference! (And I didn't even mention Allegri in my previous post who is a blessing also.)
