100%. that's what I meant. it's easy for 4 defenders to mark him out of the game when he's alone up there. but when he has someone like Pato beside him, it's definitely easier for him to score.

Thing is, it's easy for the fans to say this - but if it was your job, why would you field a team that's set up to score goals when a draw is good enough for what you need. I agree with the whole 'football is entertainment' argument, but I think we'd all be more pissed at Carlo if he sent us out in a 4-3-3 and we lost 2-0. Carlo has got the tactics spot on so far.

We've never looked more solid at the back with this formation during the season compared to when we play with two forwards.

At this point it wouldn't make a difference if we played with 2 striker Seedorf and Kaka or both very high up the pitch and not contributing anything to the midfield. They are trying to play striker's roles and doing it horribly might I add.

This idea that that Seedorf is a striker is beyong stupid imo. He was never a striker, not even an attacking midfielder and never will be, so either play him in his position or not at all
