Well, we knew we weren't going to win all our last games, but this has been a dreadful performance. Fishdoll blames it on the lack of Favster.

And on, well, boneheaded lineups and substitutions. Anyone want to take odds on Ancelotti's departure already having been decided and THAT affecting the team?

Do you think I should chill the moet? cool.gif

I shall keep an eye on the news tonight.

roma are gonna be fired up now _ after there 4-3 win but no de rossi

and viola are always a tough side to play against

Looks like we reverted back to form tonight, credit to Udinese though as they pressed well and deserved their win(penalty was very soft mind).

We Didn't Have The Right Attitude - Milan Coach Ancelotti

Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti talked about his side's poor performance against Udinese, which handed the title to Inter.

A poor performance by Milan saw them lose 2-1 away to Udinese and hand the Scudetto to their bitter city rivals Inter.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti had little excuses to make for his side's display.

"These are the limits of this team, many times we fail to enter the match with the right frame of mind," he said to Gasport. "Tonight we were less reactive than usual, Udinese interpreted the match better and won deservedly.

"Did I expect it? No, the team were in a good moment, they gave me good feelings throughout the week but we didn't get into the match. Udinese were faster and more determined in the physical contrasts, that was the key to the game."

Ancelotti denied that the rumours surrounding his future had an influence on the players' performance.

"Absolutely not, we have this objective [the Champions League], there are three points left to get there," he continued. "Tonight we missed a chance, now let's try to fix things ahead of our next home game.

"My future? I don't want to add anything, I haven't decided anything. My future is tied to next week, we want to prepare well to earn three points. A victory today would not have changed anything."

Milan could see third-placed Juventus move within one point if they beat Atalanta tomorrow.

Could it be a sweet dream (personally speaking) on the verge of coming true? Carlo's comments on his future really sound suspicious...
Tennie
Fishdoll thinks the farewell speeches and articles have already been written, zeddie.

His only concern is whether there's anyone out there (aside from Capello and Sacchi, both of whom are not available) who's really capable of turning the team around at all quickly.

Here are datasport's ratings. Dida got the highest.

In fase difensiva è troppo svagato.
Seedorf 4 Il solito trotterellare senza capo né coda.
Shevchenko s.v.

is there any other club site in the world that spews that kinda garbage, and actually rationalizes every result? we get it from silvio, galliani, carlo, etc. it's really sickening. i dont care if the decisions were questionable, it's unprofessional to state that kinda stuff and make such pathetic excuses.

wow..we lost..im not surprised looking at how we played against Juve...The thing is i just don't know if Milan are scared to kick out Carlo....Our players were unmotivated..Very dissapointing i must say...Silvio should just make up his mind and kick Carlo out...also the players that WE DON'T NEED...Seedorf was horrible again today...Can't milan see that the players aren't getting any better or even any younger...Guys really Carlo needs to go...Even madrid did beta than us...They won 19 straight games to try and get closer to Barca but eventually lost to Barca...Carlo needs to go...even when we win, most times its by winning luckily...I wish Silvio can close their eyes and fire him...of course Rijkaard was in harmony with the club and so was Ronnie but they were supplement....Our supplements are Seedorf, Sheva, senderos, kalac, ronnie (dissapointing), definitely Carlo, ....When can this team be like the Barca's, man u's,....All ma friends be celebrating with their respective clubs and me on d sideline be suffering...Milan fans have really suffered..Honestly, we have really suffered...I think Berlusconi owes it to us to win the championship, champions league, and coppa italia...speaking of Coppa Italia, when was d last time we won that? GOD HELP MILAN BUT ESP BERLUSCONI IN MAKING THE RIGHT DECISION IN KICKING OUT CARLO AND MAKING MILAN FANS HAPPY AGAIN B/C WE CERTAINLY AREN'T AT ALL

I don't get one thing, haven't we already qualified for the CL? why everyone (eg Kaka) keeps saying we can't miss out on the CL? we couldn't finish worse than fourth even if we wanted.

Essie honestly thinks there are other coaches on planet who can take the job! he also thinks Carlo's departure will act as a big shock to the team and that could make the new coach's task easier.

Well, that was quite the dissapointing game. IMO, I think our players looked quite tired. Maybe the friendly had an effect?

Anyways my ratings:

Dida: 7 He played quite well, and I will take back what I said about him earlier. He is getting back to his best.

zamb: 5 Terrible game, probably the worst of the season.

maldini: 6 very unlucky with the penalty call, but overall decent.

senderos 5 Lucky on various occassions. I smell a kaladze in the making.

janku: 5 not a good night for him.

Pirlo: 4 terrible passing, he was just not into it today.

ambrosini: 6.5 worked hard but could have done so much better, credit to him for our goal.

flamini: 6 worked hard and was unjustly subbed when we all know someone else should have been subbed instead.

seedorf: n/a no comment.

kaka: 5 very poor game by his standard.

Pato: 4 Well we all know he can't do anything up there by himself so his performance was expected.

Inzaghi: 4 he should have started instead of someone.

sheva n/a

dinho 5 some slick passing but he couldn't do much.

carlo: 2 What was he doing.......

Lol @ Seedorf . laugh.gif

I'm really frustated , why dosen't Carlo leave ??? devilsmiley.gif I know he will miss his true love Seedorf but that's alright , he can take him with him and even spoil Chelsea . huh.gif . I really wish now that we just ( Have we already ? ) qualify for the Champions League , while putting in crap performances so there's no other option than Carlo leaving , why doesn't he learn from God , he's leaving with love and respect , why doesn't this prick follow him ??? ( Oh and yeah , I almost forgot - he would not get that respect which Maldini will get ; he doesn't deserve it )

swear1.gif swear1.gif swear1.gif Go away Carlo , we don't need you , let me have the guts ( yeah , guts ) to atleast say thanks to you for finally ( what finally ??? ) leaving . Maybe the players were tired because of the friendly but no , Carlo has to leave . I hope Milan fans do a Kaka to Manchester City for Ancelotti to leave ( oh.....how could we forget seedorf ) . mellow.gif

I know I've written this crap for nothing ; I know he won't leave , that bald head loves him too much ( co-incidence ? , yes , Seedorf is bald too ) , I just had to post something , for expressing myself , cause i was in a really bad mood . Go Carlo , just go . ( I don't know how I controlled myself there of saying something abusive ) huh.gif

No seriously I'm beginning to think our 'good form' was due to playing mid/bottom table teams? look at the names we played and defeated in that good period: Atalanta - Siena - Lecce - Chievo - Torino - Palermo - Catania... they're hardly tough opponents huh.gif

Excatly what I'm saying, the minute things have gotten tough we're right back to were we were a couple of months ago, let's see what happens now against Fiorentina and Roma, Carlo will continue to be stubborn and play the xmas tree with Seedorf and we'll most probably draw or lose both games

well, it was a good season....hopefully we can wrap things up with a 2nd place finish. luckily, juve is struggling just as bad as us.

honestly, after last season, i wasn't expecting to be this close to inter at the end of this season. still disappointing, but things could have been a lot worse this year.

compare to last year things could have gone REALLY REALLY bad this season.

should be an interesting summer to watch. is carlo gone? will we finally get some good, younger talent? will we actually fill the holes that need to be field?

how will this team look and feel without maldini sad.gif

We might have beaten those teams but I reckon the reason we beat them wasn't because they were mid/bottom teams but because we payed two forwards and no seedorf. It is very noticeable how our play is better without seedorf.

Well Seedorf played in some of the games, but again we won because those team weren't really that big of a challenge, Pippo's purple patch and Kaka having a couple of really good games before going back to his slump against Juve

We were managing to win in spight of having Seedorf on the pitch, mostly because of 2 players and none of the teams we faced actually playing that well to threaten our defence

There must surely be a reason why he plays him though? If it's because he thinks he's good enough to start, then surely that makes him a bad coach, because he quite simply isn't as results show.
MizNelson
I have no idea, but whatever the issue is, it's too black and white to simply dismiss it as Seedorf being teacher's pet.

to the point of qualifying for CL:

of course we're qualified for CL as long as we reach 4th place, but we won't have to win all these preliminary rounds to get into the group stage. although i don't now exaclty if we'll be directly in the group stage when we finish 2nd....

I don't think anyone who says this really means it!

To me there's one obvious reason: he's waaaaay too cautious, so much that he can't even imagine a Milan side without his regulars, especially Zee, Kaka, Pirlo, Rino. no matter what form they're in and how they perform, they're always guaranteed of a starting place, unless they cannot play due to suspension or injury. he cannot change, hence he cannot be a SAF. look at the backbone of the team, it's pretty much the same as 6-7 years ago, and it's not working as effective as then. that's why I, and perhaps many more on here, want Carlo gone, because as ong as he's here, the player(s) in question will always play no matter what.
