HE's HORRIBLE GET RD OF AMBRO

he's ok it's just he plays too many games.

this team has 0 depth all all departments.
MizNelson
****. Carlo and his damned substitutions, and NO offense on the pitch, for all the flack our D gets.

FT 1-1 away goal had it been ULC i would have been satisfied but i think we deserve to lose
il_diavolo_mtl
Game ends with me wondering if its possible to wel Ambros *** to the bench for the rest of the year
WE ONLY WON BECAUSE TSOLIS MISSED 5 chances

dint see the first half btu from what i saw they were brutal once again.

i think they had 4-5 minutes of possession in bremens half.

No there is NO reason why flamini can't start instead of him, he proved that his early success was no fluke with a great performance today.
Ambro burned out after the first 40 minutes
MizNelson
And knowing us, we'll piss it all away at the San Siro and focus on our nonexistent Scudetto run.
Minami
I'm really worried of the home game.
of course it's in the san siro, but i don't think our squard will change that much in one weeks time...
if we won today we would have it easier next week.

I can see it happening

Now we'll have to listen to Carlo's "Next week is our priority" and the usual rigamarole he spouts from his trap over the next seven days.

Maybe if we finish the season with nothing, a new coach arrives...
il_diavolo_mtl
watching this past game i saw the need for young midfielders that can move the ball forward i think Mesto from Genoa should be brought in for petty change, he plays with samba and is defensively aware. I've liked this kid in his few appearances this year but the Genoa-Fiorentina game he was Fantastic. He performed just as good if not better then milito that game.
Ambro needs to leave so Ricky can become captain, and to leave room for Mesto and/or a crippled monkey for an upgrade at the position
MizNelson
Dinho again a candidate for the Milk Carton award today.
il_diavolo_mtl
i'm placing Ambrosini on the "sell him for a pannini" list which he only just inspired me to create :S
whoarethepatriots
I am sensing that certain people on the board have forgotten Ambrosini's past contributions. He may not be playing too well at the moment (he is playing as a left winger for fcks sake), that dosent mean he is useless. I guess the next time Kaka or Pato goes through a bad patch of form we should sell them
elcordobez
Well it could've been worse.

Werder Bremen have a whole team of lanky players lol...they just seemed to have a little more reach than the rest of Milan, especially in midfield.

Diego's their only shorty.

Look we obviously went there to defend because we only had 1 striker who was available,so there's really little wiggle room for tactics.

I think we just ought to look at the game with a bit of perspective 'tis all.
MizNelson
Not really the right place to put this, but I just saw it on Channel 4.

Milan plan Qatar friendly
Milan have organised a lucrative friendly with Qatari side Al Sadd on Wednesday March 4 at the Jassim Bin Hamad stadium in Doha.

Why?!? Are we that hard up for cash that we're slumming it with these hole-in-the-wall clubs?
Rivaldo
Normal game for guesting...

Pippo - top class!

Carlo just should do changes earlier.

Next time we'll have Kaka and Pato.

Sounds like ambro had a bad game. Happens to all players. I woudln't want to see him leave.

Ambro's not going anywhere. He's been really foul-happy as of late, though, enough almost to make Emerson blush.
Rossoneri7
Typical tactical play by Ancelotti.

Just one comment on the game, that lob Pirlo passed to Pippo in the 9th minute .. he wasn't offside dry.gif

So when is the return leg ? next week or two weeks ?

I agree. but I think it'd be good for both him and Flamini if they were rotated.

What is it that every time a board member criticizes an Italian, exactly Pato and Kaka are brought up, even if that board member is not a fan of theirs?! dry.gif

Because, zeddie, (and this is my impression only) some folks who are fans of Pato/Kaka/etc seem to me to be unwilling to accept any criticism of their favorites while heaping abuse on other players (not just italians. also janku, seedorf, etc).

No don't get me wrong i have the upmost respect for his contributions to the franchise, however he is not the same as pato and kaka for one simple reason. He, being an older player must contemplate retirement as all older players do but hen they see tremendous downfall in their performances they should star to look at their careers in retrospect and wonder if he is still producing for his team. I am not saying it's all his fault as ancelotti believe Ambro is more match fit then Flamini who has battle hard every game Carlo has gave him a chance in. I'm also not saying Ambro hasn't helped us this year in fact his tackle on Stankovic during the derby and his header off a fantastic beckham FK was great of him but outside of a few great plays you saw how younger/lesser players were running around him (not only diego). If i have one semi-problem with this team it's Carlo's undying affection for his old players. I also don't suggest an arsenal-style team build, i really think age & experience are key! Despite people screaming and kicking about Seedorf (maybe for the same reasons as i did, Ambrosini) i find him to be a vital component to this team he is alwats getting the ball surrounded by 3-4 players and done well to open his passes up.
In a nutshell i don't condone Ambro the player, i condone Ambro the guy starting over Flamini a poised young gritty ball winning mid with a rocket leg.

I'm a HUGE PATO/KAKA fan, but i don't think either of them are immune to substitutions/poor showings and i think being a milan fan is synonymous with being a Ricky fan!

I don't, mtl. In fact I don't particularly like him. He's the best player on the team and I respect his contribution but I've never been (and am not now) a Kaka fan. smile.gif

And before anyone pulls the 'tennie is a racist' card out again, I will point out that my all time favorite Milan player isn't Italian. He's Dutch: Marco Van Basten.

But i hope you appreciate the work he's done for this team. For instance I'm a big dida fan but i can't shy away from realizing how good a find Abbiati was and his contributions to Milan have been great so far.

The goal we conceded was pretty much a carbon copy of the Stank goal from the Derby.

It was Pirlo again who didn't follow the runner mad.gif

If you saw the game you would not be saying this. I thought we played ok first half but the second was all Bremen, they had many chances on goal and we are very lucky we left with a tie.
dst
Good result! happy.gif

However...

It was a fairly good first half by Milan but then... there's ridiculous and then there's us in the second half! We looked like some poor amateurs and deserved to lose.
Also, how can we concede the same goal on two consecutive games? Ambrosini was sleeping yet again! LEARN!

Tip of the day: when you can't take the ball out of our area comfortably... JUST SHOOT THE ****ING THING TO THE STARS!!!
Fillipo Simone
I don't mind Ambrosini, what I mind is rubbish defense...

QUOTE
I) Flamini doesn't deserve to warm the bench
II) Senderos > Kaladze

Now really ZD, where did you pull that one out? Senderos was pathetic, he was so bad, that even aerially he sucked - Hugo Almeida won almost every header, the last one resulted the goal. A matchfit and in-form Kaladze never would have played like this.

GOOD SIDES: positive result, Dida, Pippo, Flamini (has to work more to became even more concrete when he's up front)

BAD SIDES: marking+movement, Senderos, Pirlo,..
Rossoneri7
Flamini really impressed me yesterday ... And yeah, Senderos wasn't really that solid at the back .. I don't know if Milan will keep him beyond his loan spell.
