What's happened to him? He's injured right? But when did it happen and when is he expected to be back? Damn... what an unfortunate season!!

No one knows really, it was in the player updates a few weeks back.

It said that he picked up a knock either in training or during the friendly and that he's recovering...it said it was a contusion to his knee I think.

Don't take my word for it though...I know for sure though that they mentioned it a few weeks back but nothing new has been said since.

No bro. It's some kind of weird 4 year long loan. He belongs to his agent (like Tevez) instead of to a club. So you could say Mattioni is on a 4 year deal and we got him on a free.

The trouble is, if he does turn out good and we want to purchase him, his price is what the agent says it is. It's not like we could trade players or anything (like we do with clubs).

Lad plays for RCD Espanyol now. So he's a past player.
