I do like that but I think the size of digital cameras has crossed the line that divides convenience and addiction to diminution.

I agree wholesomely with the cameras getting smaller and smaller part. I hate it too, and that was one of the reason when I bought my Canon (the other being the quality, feature set, and the 10x optical zoom). The shape is just about perfect for my taste. The DSLR on the other hand, make me feel like a professional photographers (particularly the black ones, which is probably the only color available), which at weddings and parties, isn't that good an idea. I prefer to keep DSLRs only for photography. Unless they change the shape a bit, and make them come in silver. My choice:




Second that. But I hate ZShare, it only allows me to download at 20 something KB per second, while with a Rapidshare premium account I get the full 100+ KB. Having said that, a service like Sharebee is the best, in that you upload there, and it then automatically creates mirrors at various other sites:

They have their uses, yes. But I always prefer a camera that I can hold in my hands sturdily, not the one that gets lost in my pocket. It was a hard choice to make, however, when I bought the Canon, I'll give you that.

actually i went to a forum and i got recommended the Canon you have (I think...) Or was it the Powershot 70?

anyway, i still went and got this sony because it came with 4GB disk and i just thought the size was good and handy

I have, um, a 1955 era 35mm. Somewhere or another I have some decent snow shots in bw film I took with it. To travel with, I have an ancient and grumpy canon digital camera.

Both are great cams. Sony's too have great imaging quality. One major deciding factor for me was the ultra zoom that mine has. Makes long range photos really come alive. My next purchase will probably be a 12 MP point-and-click and a good DSLR for pro photography. The hardest part is researching, of course. That's what takes the most time.


Well, flash cards have fallen in price, you can get 4 GB for around $10 now, me thinks! Wasn't of course the case before, but prices have gone down rather steeply, unsurprisingly.


My God, Tennie, better start saving to get a new camera. Life's precious, and no better way to capture the moments than to catch them on camera.

lets just say im glad i got all my autographs last year . There was such a big security presence, was this just for David Beckham we will never know.
To see all the team again was a dream come true, i wish every single one of you were there with me to experience it all !!!
