I recognize the feeling of getting bored. they're defending with at least 8 players and we're expecting to 'unlock their defense' with this system. maybe in 70th minute we'll see some changes.

Not entirely poor. There have been some good periods of one-touch passing. BORRIELLO NEEDS TO NOT MISS SITTERS ANYMORE, however.

Maybe Borriello is wrong with Borriello?! He's looked no way near the 19-goal monster we paid millions for. Apart from that strike in the first UEFA Cup game. He looks like he's trying, and then misses when the moment of truth comes.

Terrible so far, created a handful of chances, all wasted. Carlo better make the changes at half time

He should stay on the field for 2 reason:

1. It will be a huge confidence blow for him to be subbed out after missing so many [easy] chances.
2. Pato should come on and partner him. one striker will not do.

Ronaldinho has done almost nothing. he should be subbed out. it was so predictable he wouldn't be motivated enough to shine in this game. I wonder why Carlo didn't see that.

Oh my God Kaka! He should be taken off he does not feel like playing! What is this? He's astonishingly bad and he does not even try. It's painful to see a player of his quality walk around the field waiting for space to open up itself...

i think first carlo will sub borriello for a stiker then still it mite not work then he will bring second stiker for r80 but it could end up being to late

I thought we played some great one-touch football in that half obviously borriello has been the weak link, some more intellagent runs and better finishing we would be 3-0 up. But we are creating chances and i'm confident we'll go on to win the game

He's not useless, he covers much space in defense and is a stepping stone when we attack, that's what he's supposed to do in that role. It's Kaka and Ronaldinho that should get a smack from Gattuso to wake up!

Kaka' seems to lose the ball alot more easily this season, especially from heavy touches.

Anyway it wasn't too bad a half considering the formation. We really should be leading but as usual were not really putting the foot down to get the lead.

Only trying doesn't get you too far as an attacker. Even Gattuso can try to score goals. A hitman should have both skill and technique to go along with motivation. Which I fail to see in Borriello. Running like that when he had a clear chance to break away and he pushed the ball too hard for the goalkeeper to grab. I'm sorry that looks like the mentality (or experience) of a Reggina striker, not Milan.

Someone like Torres, Drogba, Benzama, Ronaldo (R99), Eto'o etc would have had 2 goals by now.
