Ronaldinho stayed in Milan these two weeks, there's no way he's going to sit this 'home game' out

Berlu will want to watch him play.
I think this'll be
Carlo's formation and lineup:
Borriello
Dinho ------- Kaka
Gattuso ---- Seedorf ---- Ambrosini
Janku ----- Maldini ----- Bonera ----- Zambro
Abbiati
Personally I have no problem with Dinho and Kaka both playing, but only if Ambro is taken out and replaced by Pato or Sheva and we go for a 4-2-2-2 sort of thing. Personally I don't believe it's just a 1 striker problem, but mostly it's the 2 DMs that compromise most of our play, so Seedorf and Rino/Flamini holding the midfield reigns with Kaka and Dinho supporting the 2 strikers from the wings, no ultra defensive play at hom Carlo!!

Zambro is suspended guys... so expect Antonini to take his place.
I think it will be
Abbiati
Antonini Bonera Maldini Jankulovski
Gattuso Seedorf Ambrosini
Kaka Ronaldinho
Borriello
which is what Gazzetta predicts as well.

Guys i was going through milan's matches in champions league and serie A on youtube for the last 3-4 seasons ago and we played with two strikers even against the most attacking team at that time, Barcelona and we beat them so why can't we play with two strikers now..What's the difference...We can play with two strikers and we have to play with two strikers against Samp on sunday...and win most esp
Well at that time Berlusconi insisted that Carlo should play with 2 strikers.I don't know why he stopped.
QUOTE (KillerMax @ Oct 17 2008, 06:30 PM)

What I want to see:
Abbiati
Zambrotta Bonera Maldini Jankulovski
Flamini
Kaka Ronaldinho Seedorf
Borriello Pato
Carlo would have a heart attack if he saw your starting X1 but I sure would love to see it.

We stopped having two strikers who could play together. There was Gila, Pippo and Oliveira.

MILAN: 18 CALLED UP PLAYERS
10/18/2008
MILAN - Here are the 18 called up players for tomorrow afternoon's match against Sampdoria, at San Siro at 15.00. Abbiati, Ambrosini, Antonini, Bonera, Borriello, Dida, Emerson, Favalli, Flamini, Inzaghi, Jankulovski, Kakà, Maldini, Nesta, Seedorf, Shevchenko, Pato, Ronaldinho.
Unavailable: Cardacio, Gattuso, Kaladze, Pirlo, Senderos, Viudez.
Not called up: Darmian e Kalac.
Suspended: Zambrotta.
I'm guessing our formation would be something like this;
--------------------Abbiati---------------------
--Antonini---Bonera----Maldini----Jankulovski
----Flamini-------Seedorf------Ambrosini--
------------------Ronaldinho------------
------------Pato----------------Borriello

I'm pretty sure Kaka will start. Kaka is not the type of player that likes to be on the sidelines. Carletto said it's up to him if he wants to play or not. Knowing Kaka, he will play. So I'm expecting Boriello as a lone striker.

Boriello is our only striker that can play in Carlo's 4-3-2-1 system right now, so we'll see. But I hope he doesn't start Pato or Sheva and expect them to play a target man role in the game.

Interested to see how Borriello does in a lone striker role, I think he can be great. But I'd be equally happy if Kaka is rested and Pato starts alongside Borriello.

Just a slight knock....he was taken off as a precaution. Stop being so melodramatic....

A slight knock? He looked like the Human Cannonball upon crashing into the keeper.
It's bad enough that he's injured for about the hundredth time, but for it to happen in a game like that...meh.

Well, it's his choice to keep on playing at this age. Pippo in his best years was still fragile. I wonder if he will continue next season as well...

I wonder if he will continue next season as well...I hope not.... I have no problem having Pippo on the team, but only if the board take him for what he is, which is a bonus player that is rarely fit, rather then an important team player that doesn't need to be replaced. It's rediculous for our management to still count guys like Pippo as an integral part of the squad when they are on the treatment table for more then 3/4 of the season
dst

Sadly enough, I don't think Pippo is even considering retirement...

And that's sad cause our board does exactly what han says right above they should not do.

Janku was really selfish on that one chance when Pato was all by himself in front of goal and a simple pass to Pato would have resulted in a goal.
