yea im being silly too of course, but the 03-04 campaign started with no wins for the pre-season frendlies and we ended winning the scudetto it's happend to inter and juve before too.

Yeah usually when teams do bad in pre-season friendlies they do very well in normal season!

how did we play ?

It's only a friendly, the most important thing is to get players fit and ready for the season without them picking up injuries. Whether we lose 8-0 or win 9-0, it doesn't make too much difference to me.

Just finished watching the match on Milan Channel.

Players that really impressed were Flamini and Osuji from the Primavera

Flamini - he's got a great pass and awareness, obviously not Pirlo but he's the closest guy we have that could take that role on and we wouldn't miss Pirlo as much as we usually do. He's not like Rino, running around a lot but he's got great position and won the ball countless times without making a meal of it. Also has a really good shot, and some of his lobs were seriously Pirloesque.

Osuji - Quick, skilled and got a good shot on him, was a bit selfish on a couple of occasions but other then that he was impressive.

Yeah I know, but still I would've preferred a 1-0 win

I'm really happy for Flattuso. what a buy

My only disappointment was Pippo didn't score. I'd like to get him in some sort of flow for the season to start. We need to really do well in the first half of the season, unlike the past couple of seasons where we were lift with a mountain to climb in the second half.

As for Pippo and his injuries, it was something expected. I'm not counting on him to be a big part of the season. But when ever he's fit he'll be an added bonus

I saw the highlights the other day... didn't Seedorf miss two great scoring chances? I bet he has already lost his nerves by the arrival of Ronaldinho Flamini looked great. I'm sure he will be a regular next season, he's too good to be benched.
