Baretto goal. It really was a nice strike.

Nice moment toward the end of the half: the ref was going to give a goal kick after Pirlo's shot but Reggina keeper Campagnolo admitted that he'd gotten a touch on the ball and so the ref gave a corner to Milan. Applause from the tifosi for the good sportsmanship.

we cant really complain, we got 2 penalties in 1 half of the game.

Pirlo only played half of his usual-self but what an impact he's been making

In general, I think the team has looked pretty good. Passing is crisp, movement is good. There were a couple of shaky moments in the defense but nothing shockingly poor - and no Kaladzities. I don't think we can really blame anyone for Baretto's goal. That one was a wonder strike.

btw, shot of the pitch at halftime. I think Pato was among the Milan players warming up.

Very good first half ... Nothing could have been done to stop the one conceded.

Our defense was not at it's best, but the midfield is doing pretty well to shake up those counter attacks.


Reggina are playing a 3-4-1-2 formation. I think Carlo (overall) got the better of his counterpart in this half. But there is still another 45 mins to go.

At times we haven't been decisive enough by holding onto the ball too long on the break.

Ricky looks back to his magnificent best, hopefully he can score a cracker in the 2nd half. Scored some nice goals lately, don't want him getting back into the habit of just penalties.

Pretty decent game so far, Reggina are not god enough and we should won this one, they're letting our midfield to play and that's why it's kind of an easy game so far, plus no pressure at all on the ball holding player ... good for us
By the way, have you guys noticed that Seedorf is playing very close to the defence today, he's even trying to defend at times must Favalli's presence

OMG Baretto (#7) twisted his knees while trying to block Seedorf

In Serie A yes, he's scored a hat trick against Chievo in 05/06 season plus the hat trick against Anderlecht in the CL

We could not have stopped it once it was taken but we could have not allowed it to be taken; Favalli's clearance was poor.

But of course there's always going to be some minor mistakes and we can't block every shot.
