What was the last word you used like this? Cheese Omelette? No..it was milquetoast.

Gotta say you're an absolute inspiration.

LOL! biggrin.gif If you stayed with me for a week, you'd be surprised at the rigamarole I come up with.

Is this something you use to paint?

No, but I have a new ritual now whenever I work on a drawing: I watch the Athens final at least once. smile.gif
Tennie
Which Athens final?smile.gif 1994 or 2007? The 94 one is quite a good match, not least because of the despairing expression on Cruyff's face after Desailly's goal (the fourth of the game for Milan). smile.gif
Minami
Do you know if Kaka plays tomorrow?

I hope he'll get a rest so that Gourcuff can finally play!! king.gif
Fillipo Simone
I also hope Gourcuff will get his time so that we eventually figure out if he really can do it or,..

One other thing, that Antonini guy, he was a Milan player too, right? Lino, Pozzi, Saudati, many of them,.. tongue.gif
Tennie
The current gossip (nothing reliable yet) is that Kaka will be rested or only play part of the game so he's fresh for the CL game at midweek against Shakhtar. Gossip also indicates that Milan may just play a 4-3-1-2 and that God will play a bit of the game, coming on as a sub.
Jack Sparrow
4-3-1-2 with who?
dst
So if Kaka don't play, we're going to field only two forwards in Gila and Seedorf! biggrin.gif biggrin.gif rolleyes.gif rolleyes.gif rolleyes.gif
Tennie
Again, this is from the less reliable sector of the Italian press, but they're suggesting Gila-Pippo. Then again as dst points out, Seedorf is now considered a forward so.....
Jack Sparrow
F@ck Gourcuff...give Willy more playing time. No no wait...I wanna see Ba!!!
milanista1899
Seedorf played 90 mins for Holland, so I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't play the whole game either.
Tennie
Hm. Looks like the gossip rags got part of it right. Kaka will be rested tomorrow.

From acmilan.com's Italian page, here are the call-ups:

MILANO - Ecco i 18 convocati di Carlo Ancelotti per Milan-Empoli:
PORTIERI: Dida, Kalac;
DIFENSORI: Cafu, Favalli, Jankulovski, Kaladze, Maldiniwub.gif , Nesta, Oddo;
CENTROCAMPISTI: Ambrosini, Brocchi, Emerson, Gattuso, Gourcuff, Pirlo, Seedorf;
ATTACCANTI: Gilardino, Inzaghi

Seedorf played 2 90 minute games for Holland this past week and he's nearly played every minute of every game since the start of the season. He's going to be run into the ground by christmas and we can' give him a half and Kaka a half since the latter wasn't called up

hmm thin squad....

Either we go with 4-3-1-2 with Yoann playing in the midfield 3 and Seedorf in support of the 2 stikers of we go with a 4-3-2-1 with Yoann and Seedorf in spport of either Gila or Pippo, pretty much we are very limited on options with that squad.
Darunia
Ance said Pippo-Gila probably starting with Seedorf behind them... he's trying to do anything to not start Gourcuff sleep.gif

I hope Gourcuff gets in for Seedorf at HT, allow Seedorf some rest but only way that'll happen is if Milan has a big lead at HT, which is doubtful IMO.
Rossoneri7
4-3-1-2

Dida - Oddo - Nesta - devilsmiley.gif - Janku - Gattuso - Pirlo - Seedorf - Gourcuff - Inzaghi - Gilardino

OR a 4-3-2-1

Dida - Oddo - Nesta - devilsmiley.gif - Janku - Gattuso - Pirlo - Ambro - Seedorf - Gourcuff - Gilardino

Both cases Maldini and Gourcuff are starters. Though the Inzaghi - Gilardino partnership is not exactly something I am comfortable with ...

Oh well, I predict a 4-0 win for Milan devilsmiley.gif devilsmiley.gif

Forza Milan !!
Bluesummers
no its forsure 4-3-1-2. Carlo had said hes using 2 FW

I just hope gourcuff plays because i will be so fckin mad if he doesnt. Give ambro or seedorf some rest. We do not need them against small clubs like empoli with the CL coming up this week. Goddamit carlo use your brain.

The day they signed Gourcuff: "we have bought the next Zidane, a great talent, an important step forward in being more Arsenal than Chelsea, blah blah blah...!"

And what Carletto said yesterday: "Gourcuff's problem is that he has the best midfielders of the world in front of him (does that include Brocchi?! rolleyes.gif), so he has to find motivation by always sitting on the bench...!"

mad.gif

I get embarrassed when I think about what MILAN did to a talent like him (we're not talking about Inter or Real). honestly I don't see a way back for him, he has to leave Milan for his own good. I just wonder who's the next one? could it be Pato? sad.gif

ya well our midfield includes kaka, pirlo and gattuso which is the world class part since it's so balance but IMO seedorf is easily interchangeable with grourcuff. like we all know seedorf should only play the big games.

What did Milan to a talent like Gourcuff? For christ sake, the player is 21 years old!!!!! He's not finished, not dead, not transfered, not released. Why do we have to act like everything is over, like his talent will fade away??

Ohhh my,..I mean, we are not Arsenal. There is much time left for Yohann,..

Of course they're interchangeable with each other, and it's obvious Yoann should be played against smaller teams and leave the big ones to Seedorf; but the problem is that if Seedorf is alright and ready, he plays in EVERY single match.

There's no way. Yoann is finished in Milan IMO, at least unless something big happens. like we sack Carletto and in bring Rijkaard or seedorf breaks a leg!

Since it's a matter of time, we shall wait and see whether he will turn into the new Zidane or not.
