Davide Lippi, FIFA agent: "The mercato of Milan is not finished with Bonucci and Biglia. There will be 2 more important arrivals."

There is a God. Worst signing for value for money probably ever. Certainly close to. Oliveira pushes him.

My god, you jump quickly to conclusions Danny! Let Silva actually kick a ball for us before you start labelling him garbage!

Nope. I have my opinion and I want to be wrong. I mean come on, if a player isn't exactly sensational before he joins a pressure pit like Milan, do you really think he's going to turn into Sheva? It's a bad signing IMO and while garbage was strong my summer has seen about 800 garbage Portuguese players go to Ibrox (Bruno Alves aside) while now Milan are getting in on it.

Fed up with bloody Portugal and the cr*p my teams are signing from there.

QUOTE
Sanches has potential, there are many reasons one could attribute as to why he had a bad first season at Bayern, he showed great promise in the Euros. He made a big money move as a teenager and probably found it difficult to make an impact at Bayern because they already have such a set first 11. He was never going to be good enough to dethrone Vidal

Also, Bayern do not want to sell him, they already said that they want to loan him out so he can gain experience. I don't think they'll agree to our option offer anyway

Big difference in quality between the 2 comparisons.

I don't really care - one year on and you think a switch to Milan is where a guy who couldn't handle being at Bayern is the best thing? I have my opinions on some of the moves we're making - some are great, some just aren't.

I've had quite enough of blind support about players just because they're in our shirt. Muck is muck however much it cost and however much polish is on it. Let's hope these two, if Sanches arrives, prove me wrong.
But I'm sticking to my guns here.

QUOTE
Belotti is simply a much better return on investment than Auba, who's 28, relies a lot on pace and is demanding ridiculous wages that even EPL sides have to think twice about matching

Auba has a far better career at a far higher level than Belotti. You pay more you get more. It's really that simple. I don't really care about his wages in truth. We paid Ibra an insane amount. And got value for that.

QUOTE
Silva is not a pure finisher, he's an SS, and most of his biggest fans will tell you that he needs to improve his finishing but every other aspect of his game is very well developed for a 21 year old.

Also, he had 2 good games and 2 bad ones in the Confed Cup. Doesn't say much of anything. And I don't think people would be w@nking much over him until they can see that he can do it for Milan rather than a Portugal side where he's already comfortable

I think Auba's wages are a big factor, he's demanding 12m per year, sorry but that's too much

It's less than Ibra at Utd. And he's got 7 years on him while being the best striker in Bundesliga. Sorry, but that's only too much if you don't have the ambition to be the best.

QUOTE
Also, with regards to Bonucci's wages, no one knows how much he's going to be making exactly, some outlets have said 7.5m + 2m bonuses while Sky have reiterated that it's 6.5m per year.

He's still the best paid in the league by most accounts.

But you know his wages right? Aubameyang is asking for 12-13 MM a year?!! That's ridiculous. No one but the true elite deserver that kind of wage. He's not coming for Bonucci wage (6-7MM)

Ibra, 7 years older, got £350k a week at Utd.

tbh wages just don't matter to me any more. What they deliver on the pitch does. And the pedigree of Auba is at that level.

Is it, though? Maybe you value Aubameyang much more than we do to be making a statement like that.

The name Modric should be banned from here.

If we still have a 100m...

I read somewhere, I think it was CM.com that we have 3 more signings to make and they will most likely be Auba/Belotti, Kalinic/Keita and a top end midfielder

CM.com are a bit erratic but if we do pull off these moves, on paper we're as good as Juve imo. It's just a matter of getting things to click

Oh, forgot about Oliveira! What a dud he was...

I was looking at some of the starting 11s used in the last 5 or so years, nightmare inducing I tell you

But how can you come to a conclusive opinion when you've barely seen him play. You barely even knew who he was when we signed him, and you're just basing an opinion off of pretty much 2 insignificant matches with Portugal, one being so insignificant that Ronaldo went on holiday instead of staying with his teammate for it.

Also, I never said that I expect the guy to be Sheva, I don't even think he'll be a sure starter for us next season, I think Montella will ease him in and this is why we're looking at profiles like Belotti, Auba and heck, even Kalinic as they're more of a 'sure thing' for us in the league.

And I don't understand why you're comparing guys Rangers brought in to our only Portuguese signing. Sanches is a rumour, which most likely wont happen as the formula we want is a win-win for us and a lose-lose for Bayern.

Well I have mine as well, I think Borini was pointless and I'm still not sure about Hakan, but I will reserve my judgement until I've seen both play. With Silva I think he was a good move, but I'm also not sure if he'll really pan out. But sometimes you have to take risks in the market, and imo Silva was a calculated one, because if he works out he has huge marketing potential and triple time resale value. If he flops, that's just something you have to take in stride. I'm sure Fassone and Mirabelli took this into consideration as well but were still willing to pay nearly 40m for him

Well of course, one is 23, the other is 28. Look at where Auba was at 23, probably on his nth loan move from us to some obscure team where he couldn't cut it still. He only came into his own at Nice. Belotti on the other hand is the first player under 24 to score 24 goals in the league since Sheva

We'd be paying him a lot more than we paid Ibra. And keeping a balanced wage bill still has to be a priority for us. Especially considering all the veils that were put on our financial situation and FFP

Also, you can't compare Ibra to Auba in terms of influence on the pitch. Ibra on his own makes you a contender, and I don't think Auba gives you that

Let's not compare what EPL sides are handing out to what we can. Juve can't compete with them either. We've shown that we have ambition, we don't need to satisfy a money hungry agent/father to show that we have it. 9m per season is still very ambitious and would still be the best paid player in the league

Nope, Higuain is on 7.5 if I'm not mistaken.

Not saying that he's not and that I wouldn't be ecstatic to have him, but his demands have even raised eyebrows at PSG

As for Silva debate I am with Han on this one, you can just not judge a player, especially as young as him without giving him the opportunity. Look at Sokratis for example, the guy was a dud for us, now he is one of the best defenders in Germany. It is possible that a leauge suits a player and another doesnt, lets just hope Serie A fits Silva.

BTW: Torino has presented their new jeresyes and Belotti is not in them. For more Fabrizio Romano from Sky is saying that we have a deal with Belotti, while we offered 45m + Niang + Paletta, while Torino want 80m.

65m + those 2 should be enough. If they don't accept just move on

He's not even worth that atm. I love Belotti but Cairo is nuts if he thinks anyone will pay him what he's asking for a kid who's so far only had a good season and a half

One other side note, I find it strange that they're going all in for Duvan Zapata from Udine when they have Belotti, especially for the quoted 20m Udine want. They'd only get him if Belotti was leaving imo as they don't have that kind of cash to throw around

BREAKING: Sky Sport Journalist Fabrizio Romano says Belotti has given his ok to Milan through intermediaries.
However Cairo isn't convinced with Milan's offer €40m + Niang and Paletta. He wants €80m + Niang and Paletta.

La Gazzetta dello Sport: Milan are interested in signing free agent forward Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting as a squad player for the upcoming season.

Locatelli wants to leave according to la Repubblica.
