Both are great, and if we get a top CF upfront, I really think we'll be shoe ins for top 3

You mean scudetto contenders. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Belotti goals and skills

I think his only flaw is that he's not 100% comfortable with the ball at his feet. Tends to get a bit clumsy sometimes. But in terms of speed, agility, physique and goal instinct, the guy is a beast. I really hope we sign him.

I think Renato Sanches is nothing but hype. Bayern payed real money for him, and if Carletto says he's for sale just one season after his big signing with them, he's the new Gourcuff. Please pass.

Must admit I agree. He did impress at the Euros, yes, and scored the goal which won the thing iirc, but a year later I've heard absolutely nothing about him and if Carlo wants to sell him it's not the best sign.

That said, Allegri wanted to sell Bonucci so that isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Wouldn't you want your 80M star striker to be comfortable?! The more I hear about Belotti the more worried I am he isn't the right fit for a club our size.

Uhh..Renato Sanches didn't score the winning goal nor any other goal on that tournament.

No, I want my striker to score goals. Of all the names we've been linked with, Belotti gives me most assurance. Aubameyang would be good as well, but I think Belotti provides more options. Plus he's younger and Serie A proven.

Nah, I wouldn't go there yet, maybe the following season. We're going to need time to actually become a team. Let's not forget, this will practically be an entirely new squad, we're even changing the majority of the bench!

True, but I don't think it will take much for the team to gel. Montella has more than a month to get things clicking.

Agreed, but I'm still very cautious to see how they'll click.

You know, I'm a big Montella fan, I like what he did with the team last season, but atm, he looks like the weak link in the group. Hope he proves me wrong, but I am a bit worried that the pressure could get to him

I remember him from the Euros, there was a lot of hype about him and he didn't impress.

QUOTE
While Bayern won the league, Sanches played only 25 games across all competitions and did not achieve a single goal or assist. He started just four league games and playing the entirety of only one.[39] Former Bayern player Lothar Matthäus named him among the three worst players of the season, while Sanches himself said he was disappointed by his performances; however, manager Carlo Ancelotti said he would remain at the Allianz Arena for the following season.[39]

Simple no to this one for me. Absolute, unequivocal no. This is in Silva territory for me - I'm having a summer tortured by Portuguese garbage. First Rangers now Milan.

So you'd have rather had Benatia than Bonucci then? Why have cotton if you can afford silk.

Dear god, you and your fixation on Silva! A player you know nothing about yet can so easily label as garbage. I strongly suggest you wait, see how he performs, then make your mind about him. A handful of games in the most useless tournament in the world tell absolutely nothing.

But 17 goals in 45+ in a weaker league than Serie A does. And let's face it X, had he had a great tournament everyone would be w*nking all over him. But seeing as he had a bad one let's just ignore it?

It's not a case to favour one player over another. Wages. You cannot seriously use Aub's wage demands as a reason against him when (yourself excepted) we're beyond overjoyed at Bonucci arriving for Serie A's biggest wage.

But you know his wages right? Aubameyang is asking for 12-13 MM a year?!! That's ridiculous. No one but the true elite deserver that kind of wage. He's not coming for Bonucci wage (6-7MM)

My god, you jump quickly to conclusions Danny! Let Silva actually kick a ball for us before you start labelling him garbage!

Sanches has potential, there are many reasons one could attribute as to why he had a bad first season at Bayern, he showed great promise in the Euros. He made a big money move as a teenager and probably found it difficult to make an impact at Bayern because they already have such a set first 11. He was never going to be good enough to dethrone Vidal

Also, Bayern do not want to sell him, they already said that they want to loan him out so he can gain experience. I don't think they'll agree to our option offer anyway

Big difference in quality between the 2 comparisons.

Belotti is simply a much better return on investment than Auba, who's 28, relies a lot on pace and is demanding ridiculous wages that even EPL sides have to think twice about matching

Silva is not a pure finisher, he's an SS, and most of his biggest fans will tell you that he needs to improve his finishing but every other aspect of his game is very well developed for a 21 year old.

Also, he had 2 good games and 2 bad ones in the Confed Cup. Doesn't say much of anything. And I don't think people would be w@nking much over him until they can see that he can do it for Milan rather than a Portugal side where he's already comfortable

I think Auba's wages are a big factor, he's demanding 12m per year, sorry but that's too much

Also, with regards to Bonucci's wages, no one knows how much he's going to be making exactly, some outlets have said 7.5m + 2m bonuses while Sky have reiterated that it's 6.5m per year.
