Donnarumma; Abate, Paletta, Romagnoli, Calabria; Sosa, Montolivo, Bonaventura; Suso, Bacca, Niang.
De Sciglio has a light injury and hasn't been called up. What I like about Montella is that he's not afraid to play an attacking-minded line-up. But even so, playing Montolivo at this point is unjustified. The guy is a walking corpse. I'd much rather have Poli in there. |

Apparently there was an altercation between Bacca and Montella, which is why Bacca is sitting it out. Let's see what lapa can do. Bacca hasn't done himself any favours in the last 2 games anyway If we don't win this, Montella needs to finally abandon this 4-3-3. He needs to adapt a system that works with our players not try to adapt our players into the system. I think we've seen this rigidity being attempted and has failed one too many times now. |
