For €8 million it's not a bad deal, but yeah, €3.5 million per season is too much.
Now we can finally concentrate on signing a quality CM and a quality CB. Reports saying we've offered €16 million to Roma for Romagnoli, and that there's a meeting planned with Athletic next week regarding Laporte.
The 3.5m is just a report. Hopefully it's more around 2-2.5m
Bacca is reportedly going to earn 2.5-3m, so it wouldn't make much sense for Adriano to make that much. We'll see what it is when there's more concrete news on the deal
As for the CBs, I'd love to have both, get rid of Zapata and Paletta. But I get the feeling it will be just one for sure. If it were up to me, I'd take Laporte, his ceiling is higher than Ramagnoli's imo, though he'd probably cost more, though it does not seem like we have any issues with money at this point. We paid 8m for Adriano when we could have waited till January and got him for free. A few months ago we know what route Galliani would have taken, now he just throws money at them and the deal is done within a day

I'm glad we are doing business swiftly and aptly this summer, Id love to see Ibra signed asap, but I think that deal may take sometime if it happens.
The defence should be our next attention now we have Luiz & Bacca, although of course Berlu said we need 3 strikers.
Agreed, especially about Ibra, but I get the feeling he'll be a last week addition, as a big "gift" for the fans.
Or, something else that's been inkling away at me. Italian media is reporting that the Bee deal could be finalised in mid-July instead of August as it has been put on the fast track since there were a couple of issues related with the Chinese investors that have now been resolved. So I could see Ibra being the big signing that welcomes in the new era once Bee and his consortium of investors officially become stakeholders of the club
I'm wishing, hoping, praying, crossing my fingers that the 3rd one will be Ibra. I firmly believe that with him back in the team we'll be title contenders and will put up a serious challenge to Juve

Alex is the best of those three but he's also the oldest and most injury prone. Makes him a lot less appealing to me.
True, but Zapata and Paletta both are terrible in their own ways. I guess if I was backed into a corner and had to choose one of those 2, I'd sell Zapata and keep Paletta. We'd probably make more money off of Zapata anyway, plus he's more instable and a bigger liability than Paletta imo
